I bought this after reading a number of reviews of similar products. Happy I bought this, it is weighty and solid and is made without sharp edges (a complaint about some others). It has fit well on all sparkling wine bottles I have used it on so far (prosecco, champagne, asti de moscato, asti spumante). After opening I keep them upright and this has kept the fizz in very well. It is simple to use and so far very effective. Can't fault it- gave one to a friend as a gift after using mine.

Excellent product. Very simple to use. Worked perfectly on a bottle of Moët. We kept the bottle upright but seeing how it held the pressure it will be fine on it’s side. Just remember to hold on to it when you open as it does pop! 5 stars!!

Excellent, quality product. Don’t know how I did without this. Fits on Prosecco and champagne bottles nicely and keeps everything bubbly and fresh. The gold finish looks lovely. Very happy, would recommend.

Popped of a bottle of wine, fell on the wine glass and broke it.Maybe if their were a spring on the armatures or a locking mechanism - shouldn't be beyond the wit of man.I'm using a piece of string.OK I put it up from 2 to 4 stars because although the mechanism slips when clamping on naked glass, it seems to hold fine on a bottle neck covered by paper or plastic. Just remeber not to rip this off when you open the bottle, and it will be quite effective. Still - if a spring loaded version comes out I'll move to that right away.

Can't fault this. Works well to keep in the fizz in champagne/prosecco bottles. Easy to use and seems pretty robust so far.

Good Stuff! It keeps the bubbles up to 6 days! I am going to buy more as presents for friends.

Does the job very very well BUT when using and removing hold the top as it explodes really strongly and fast and could even penetrate a glass window. Keeps fizzy fizzy

The toast is this gadget and the cost, too, because while you can get similar stoppers cheaper they don't feel quite as sturdy or look half as nice. The 'gold may lack the Midas like magic of the one pictured - all that glisters and all that - but it simply looks the part atop your bubbly. And for three, it's a decent price for a nicer quality product. Read with astonishment another review referencing bottles now able to last three days in lockdown. Doubtless they do but ours are polished off far faster...

Have owned one now for about 6 months and just bought another. Reliable even for laying the bottle down in a wine fridge. Have used for champagne and prosecco / cava, as well as red and white wine. Fits all sparkling bottles, and most wine bottles too with the exception of the odd screw cap (Oyster Bay).No leaks and keeps things fizzy for a long time - longest I have left a bottle is 6 days and it was still excellent.

Esteticamente elegante, funziona perfettamente mantenendo per qualche giorno inalterato lo spumante.

Sorpreso da questo tappo. Avevo aspettative basse sulla qualità e invece funziona benissimo.

Einwandfreier und sehr guter Verschluss! Die Produkteigenschaften lt Beschreibung treffen absolut zu und ich freue mich extrem, dass er auch auf unserem Lieblings-Sekt sicher hält. Diese Flaschen sind iwi anders, so dass unser alter Verschluss dem Innendruck nicht widerstehen konnte und ständig absprang. Bin wirklich zufrieden!
