I started with ananda and am doing some backtracking, the fun thing is there is a lot of variety, here is my song by song breakdownT1-Catchy vocals in the chorus and at the end of the lalalala part, not slow but not fast-9/10T2-More horns in this once, which i don't like, has more of a traditional sound, i also don't like the sliding bass in the chorus or the guy singing in the background, i also dont like the scream/whine thing after the chrous, other that it's not that bad, tolerable-5/10T3-Slow but very nice, love the bass, nice chorus very relaxing song-9/10T4-Dance song, very fun upbeat and catchy, i normally don't like vocal alterations but they're cool in this one-9/10T5-Faster again, real hyper and active, the prechorus is a mile a minute, cool-9/10T6-Slowing down again, the lead guitar is pretty, sounds kind of like satriani, nice chord changes, very well done-9/10T7-Dance again, sexy vocals for sexi dance, very catchy-9/10T8-Back to a mod pace, again a nice song, who's the guitarist he's got good style?-9/10T9-Santana like intro, Catchy open chorus with the harmonies, cool chord changes in the verse, mod pace-9/10T10-Everyhting about this song sounds so happy, the twangy guitar in the intro, the bass line especialy halfway through the verse cool!, the chorus is super catchy-9/10T11-Dancing Again, gloria estefan like with the beat and horns, very fun song-9/10T12-Wow they saved the best for last, for sure, buy the album just for this one-10/10Fun album because of the variety, it doesnt fit into any category so if you wanted all dance you should combine them from other albums.

I didn't appreciate this type of music until I was older. I was used to her older, mid 90's uptempo euro-dance stuff but as I've matured I've come to appreciate slower, less bubble-gum type songs although this album does have some really poppy tracks. This album is probably her most successful, my favourite songs are "Sexi Dance", "Tan Sola", "Yo Sigo Aqui", "Talvez, Quizas" and "No Soy Esa Mujer".

I love this Paulina Rubio CD I listened to it growing up and it my aunt really liked this CD

I'm a listener only at this point (torn up right leg) with a short attention span.Rubio's tracks run from slow to fast, some serious, some dance, some bubble gum, some slow, some fast. The variety works for me. The producer was a genius.Personally, I find even the poorly rated songs to be enjoyable. I agree with the reviewer who suggested that if you want a dance album, you will need to make your own compilation from this and other albums

WOW! This is what I had to say when I listened to this album. After all her past albums were basically a failure which gave Paulina Rubio a very hard time and were bought by nobody, she came back in 2000 with this self-titled album. It is actually a pretty good album. I must say it's her best. The majority of the songs are very good with the exception of "Mirame A Los Ojos" and "Sin Aire". There were about five or six hits from this album. This album includes many kinds of rythms such as dance, pop, latin, ranchera, and a little bit of rock. "Lo Hare Por Ti", for example, is a reggae-pop song. "El Ultimo Adios" is a ranchera song. "Y Yo Sigo Aqui" has a dance-pop rhythm which makes you want to dance. There are also relaxing ballads such as "Tal Vez, Quiza" and "Tan Sola".I must say that in 2002, she thought she was going to hit with any song, but she was totally wrong. I was so disappointed when I listened her new "Border Girl" album. It was all electronic work. I know fans refuse to believe this, but it is the truth. She did not "conquer" the U.S. as she and many of her fans expected.If you want to listen to Paulina's best album, you should listen to this. You will like it a lot.

This cd has the hit Yo sigo aqui that was a big hit in the past. Very beautifull music

I love Paulina Rubio. And I greatly enjoyed this CD. And I highly recommend it.

I like this cd, actually I bought it used in order to replace the cd which was stollen from me 1 yr. ago, however, the description in the used cds said "very good condition, like new" and the cd have scratches in the back.
