If like me, you are looking for something to make sure you have a good airflow to stop your laptop from overheating this is brilliant. I usually plug and monitor and a keyboard into my laptop, so I don't really touch it once on the stand and for this purpose it is brilliant! I cannot speak to how sturdy it would be if I was typing and using the laptop while on the stand but my guess is that as long as you make sure the laptop is properly placed and it is on a non-slip surface it will be great.
