Chaos XS Round Baitcasting Reel, Saltwater Conventional Reel

Used on my catfish rig and strung it up with 20lb braided line. No backlash and was smooth casting after I got it tuned in.

For the money this is an excellent reel. I have it around 3 years and it is smooth. It’s better than my KastKing. It’s perfect for Porgies, Fluke, Sea Bass and Blackfish.

Was excited for this to come and when it finally did, I paired it up with a Shimano TDR 9'. Since its winter, it was slow and skunked like crazy but im impressed with the casting distance and the accessibility to the functions of the reel. Finally caught 1 12" striper 2 weeks ago and was finally able to hear the bait clicker go. Just waiting to catch a big one hopefully! The support team (both Facebook and email) are extremely helpful for anyone that is interested in the Pisicfun items. No need to buy a $100 or $200 reel when Pisicfun can help you with one of the best reels in the market and also not break your wallet!

As everyone knows, Piscifan offers very sketchy descriptions of their products, and even less with the limited literature enclosed in the box. Purchased this reel to replace an Ambassador 5000 (old Sweden made) that was stolen. first, I would advise the buyer to take down the reel to lubricate as it contains little oil and is rough out of the box. Literature with the reel, again very, very limited, says the reel has a 10 stage magnetic cast control. After opening the reel I found 6 extremally small magnets only available on the left side by completely disassembling the reel. This type of magnetic control normally provides magnets that pull out to engage. Pulling on the small magnets in this reel resulted in pulling the magnets completely off with no stop. Perhaps the spool tension knob is meant to work in conjunction with the magnets somehow, but again, no literature to support this. My old Ambassador had brass gears while this reel has plastic gears. Not built for the long run, but not $200 either. Do not buy this reel unless you have an "educated" thumb if you intend on casting a lot. Hopefully this reel will work for me for vertical jigging stripers and 10-15 pound catfish. Last note, the reel does not completely free spool at the pawl (line guide) traverses with the spool when casting. Haven't put line on the reel yet, so I cannot judge the serviceability of this reel, but it looks promising.

Very smooth, casts well, and seems very well made. Works as well or better than reels priced much higher.

Great reel for the money

Item exactly as described.

The reel looks well built and feels strudy.
