These toys are not to a scale, they are all 8" toys which means they are all approximately 8" long.

Looking for a toy to teach my 17 yr old how a car moves backwards when you turn the wheels. Do these wheels turn enough to turn the tractor ?

While I think that is an excellent idea this toy may not be large enough to demonstrate that.

I found the tractor at a yard sale, but no accessories. Can I buy them separately?

I did not find any type of accessories for this tractor-trailer set. My grandson loved it though . He used some of his smaller toys to play with it.
