My wife is a houseplant assassin. You think she's there to take care of them, nurture them, provide them needed sustenance in exchange for their lush greenery. She seems like she really cares. She checks the soil regularly, waters the plants judiciously, and prunes them to make room for new growth. She cares. Really. And them BAM, plant drops dead without warning. My wife feigns innocence, but we all know what happened here. Death by too much care. Anywho, I got her this book and fewer plants are dropping dead. COINCIDENCE? I think not. Beautiful book. Very informative.

I was so excited when I ordered this book, I have several houseplants but sometimes they die because I'm not sure of how to care for them especially if they become ill. I lost four plant to fungus this past year. The book came the same day I ordered it and the price beat any I've seen on other web sites by a huge margin. It has many great pictures of plants and great care tips. My only problem is it didn't have most of my plants listed. It didn't have Tradescantia plants listed which are fairly common, nor did it have Christmas cactus which I have many of or African Violets. These are a fairly common houseplants. I understand you can't list everything but in my case it just doesn't work so I am reluctantly sending it back. The book is absolutely beautiful and I would highly recommend it, just be sure they have the info on the plants you need.

This book has to be the most aesthetically pleasing book that I own! I absolutely love all of the imagery that is featured throughout the book and I plan on using this beautiful book for a part of my centerpiece on my coffee table. I know whenever I have company over, they’re going to be picking this book up and enjoy every single page that they wind up turning to. I would buy all of them if they came out with more books like this one!!
