It helped me to get in great shape. I'm fused in my neck and my back and it strengthened my legs and core, taking pressure off of my back. Quick weight loss, slimmed down, built muscle. Then a few years later I bought the MSUB and I love it too. Completely different bikes, but both are great for the same reasons. Cardio exercise without feeling like it is hard. So much more pleasant to ride outside and the work out hour goes so quickly. I ride my 8c in the city on pavement and I ride my MSUB in the country on gravel and dirt roads, although you can ride it on pavement too.
