Disaronno Velvet Cream Liqueur | 700ml | 17% vol

I really enjoyed Disaronno Velvet Cream Liqueur on first try, and my family who tried it also rated it highly. To me, it reminded me of drinking Baileys but with the almondy taste of dissarano. We drank this like baileys, just a double measure over ice however it can be mixed. Taste, Texture & smell: The texture is as it says - very velvety. Almost like a pouring cream texture and feels more of a dessert than a drink. I definitely couldn’t drink it all night as my main drink as i did find it a little sickly due to the creaminess and thickness. A couple won’t hurt though right! Taste wise, I definitely tasted the almond very strong, but also tasted notes of vanilla and a light toffee. It is a very sweet drink, but very enjoyable. What i loved best about the taste and texture of this liqueur is that there wasn’t that horrific alcohol burn in your throat which some spirits give. It went down smoothly making it an enjoyable experience! Scent wise, I think it smelt very similar to the classic armaretto, but you could smell the creaminess of it. It gave me Christmas market vibes from the warmth it gave off. Personally, what really attracted me to this was the bottle. I think it looks so boujee and sleek - great addition to my bar for Christmas. What’s even better is I only paid £10 for 50cl, an absolute bargain!! I purchased the same bottle for my mum for Christmas because she loved it when she tried mine, and she said she made an espresso martini with hers - personally this isn’t a cocktail I would choose as a non coffee lover, but just an idea for anyone wanting to try! Only think I would say is keep it cold or have ice with it, when it was later in the night and we didn’t pop back in the fridge, we tried it like-warm and it wasn’t half as good.

Nice if you like almonds like mazipan

It’s was a fab item. Courier was terrible refused to bring to my house down my drive so took it away would have been less than 5 mins but said the ping was at the top of the drive so no. Amazon were amazing they rearranged it and ensured they come down. Different courier came the second time

Increíble. Me gustan las cremas de licor y voy probando cosillas, pero este me ha dejado impresionado es absolutamente delicioso. Cereza y almendra que combinan perfectas, cremosidad y el punto alcohólico, pero lo mejor es como se va desarrollando el sabor en la boca. Sin duda se ha convertido en mi licor de cabecera.
