Excellent and great value for money
I have just finished putting this on my hose and it is excellent. I had to cut down the end of the hose first which was important and then ensure that the end of the connector on the gun inserted correctly in to the end of the hose right up to the rim of the thread. The plastic piece that grips the hose then needs to be fully against the top of the thread and then screwed in place. Worked perfectly once I had completed all of these steps and the hose now functions as good as new - with a new hose gun in place too.

Nice quality
These are nicely made and work well. No leaks at either end of my hose.

Quality Materisls
I had been using standard plastic outdoor tap adaptors and they served their purpose for nearly 20 years before becoming worse for wear and leaky. So having done some research, I decided to give a metal version of these adaptors a go. This version appears to be quality made but frustratingly it comes with the female adaptor to screw on to the outside tap but the other adaptor is a quick release one end with a male screw thread on the other end. this then requires a similar female adaptor I already put on the tap to screw on to it leaving me a female quick release.I may have missed something in the item description but I needed a female screw connection on to the tap to leave me a male quick release for a female quick release on a hose end. So I had order the hose female quick release connectors additionally. Now I have everything I need all is good. The quick release connectors require the outer shell pulling back slightly, make your connection and release the outer shell for it to lock in to place. This is as opposed to the plastic version where you could simply push the connector on to the male type. I have used 2x quick release hose connections and they connect superbly, one on to my new tap adaptor, the other on to my hose pipe outlet. I have only connected up to my male plastic pressure washer connection twice to date, but this operates at 1800 psi and no leaks apparent during 3 hours of car washing. The hose quick release fitment is a tight fit in that the outer ring you place over the hose first and the plastic washer will twist on to the hose. The hose is again tight on to the male adaptor in the connector and then you need to move the plastic washer up to the connector first before presenting the outer shell for tightening it all together. In summary, currently all adaptors feel a quality build with positive lock on connecting and only time will tell if they are as reliable as my old plastic version. I am currently happy with the purchases and optimistic of their reliability and longevity.

Sturdy and effective
I've been using these for a few weeks. What a change from the branded plastic connectors that are OK at first but degrade horribly in the open. (The cheap unbranded plastic ones, that I also bought, are quite flimsy). They fit into place nicely and are leak free.(Mine do not click in; you pull back the collar in order to push them into place)I worked out that a set of these with a brass dual tap connector will pay for itself as long as it lasts over twice as long as branded plastic ones. But I just like them either way.

Perfect
Solid heavy duty connectors, no leaks, easy to tighten, what more do you need

OK for the money
Could not get the compression joint where the hose is seated to seal completely. Otherwise seems well made.
