Is this real papyrus paper or is it the banana leaf “papyrus style” paper?

As far as I can tell they are papyrus. I have compared the sheets with a papyrus drawing from a certified store in Cairo. Quality is lower. Package claims them to be actual papyrus. However, it may take an expert to tell. I am not sure that I have seen “banana imitations” so it would be good to ask a real expert. The sheets worked great for my students to write hieroglyphics in a world religion class. For the price and my use worth the money.

Can this paper be loaded into a printer

Some did it and it was ok for them.Others tried and it jammed.It can jam as it is a thick sheet.

Why do the sheets dry out so quickly and roll up when taken out of package?

Same thing happened to me. However the papyrus was for a school project so when it rolled up, we "went with it" and turned it into a scroll and tied a ribbon around it.Good luck!
