Plants are thriving...
This is a nice space saver. The planters come with a hole in the front left corner, also supplied are little silicone plugs. At first the drain hole got stopped up with soil so we had to clean it out and put down little screens with small gravel, over the holes. Then the problem truly became apparent, the holes were too small to handle Southern rainstorms. The planters became immersed in water while slowly draining. My husband drilled slightly larger holes on the left corners. Looking at the dynamics, it appeared that the left side would get the most watering, and my Husband again got out his trusty drill and made a hole in the front "Right" corner of every other planter and I plugged the left hand hole on that planter. The theory being that the water would have to saturate the soil across the width of the planter to the other corner in order to drain to the next one below it. All the planters are thriving. I was absolutely amazed at how fast the lettuce sprouted, it seemed overnight. This is my first attempt at lettuce so I have no way of knowing if this is the norm. The planters do not seem deep enough for "root" vegetables like regular-sized carrots, beets, etc... It should work great for strawberries or even beans or zucchini... I've even purchased more to try ground cherries & peppers, herbs, actually the skies the limit on what you can grow in these, being able to place them anywhere that meets the light requirements but not having the room to put in raised beds. Now to business, they are well made (accept the need for slightly larger holes in addition to a screen & small gravel to hold it in place), sturdy and easy to assemble. They have a metal lip for each planter to hook on to for stability and they were delivered quickly. I hope you have much success with your garden.

Great for patios! Really nice looking too!
This went together very easily. It is perfect for small places like patios etc. I planted lettuce, herbs, etc in mine and it seems pretty sturdy while full of dirt and after a watering. It also looks really nice and well made, not cheap. My favorite part is the waterfall style draining, the drain holes are above the next container down so you just have to put a small container under the very bottom container to catch extra water. I have neighbors below me so I cant have water dripping down there. They also come with silicone plugs if you needed them completely plugged. It does wobble just a little if you push it, but overall is very sturdy and wouldn't fall over or anything. I'd definitely recommend this, it's a little pricey but worth it since there's really nothing else like it on the market (I looked everywhere).

Extremely sturdy and good design, just needs some tweaks
I grow exclusively in pots (because our soil sucks in the yard), and as my herb collection expands, it gets harder and harder to find place for them with adequate sunlight! I liked the design of this so I could take advantage of a retaining wall on my patio. It's the best design I've seen, as it allows water to drain from one pot to another to save water, and because of that steep angle required, has the most planters, compared to similar products. Set up was an absolute breeze. The frame is STURDY - thick steel and has a good, solid feel to it once assembled - I'm not worried about it collapsing or falling over in a summer storm. The planters have two grooves so they really "snap" in securely, but would be no problem to remove easily. My only beef: one tiny drainage hole per planter box. I get it, it is marketed to be indoors or out, so they supply drain plugs that will stop water from ruining your floors. But man, drainage is key for healthy potted plants. I will be drilling holes in a line along the backside of each planter, so the water cascade continues but my plants can breathe.

Worth the buy if you need more garden space
I was discouraged by the price, but just decided to treat myself as I needed more garden space. Boy, I am pleasantly surprised! It was super quick to assemble and the pots are big and deep enough to grow a variety of things in. The pots are easy to remove from the post and can be easily put back on. This really helps me to save more space. I’m growing lettuce and spinach and herbs in them right now. Also the sun hits all the pots as it’s a ladder style garden. Great and sturdy!

This is a great planter, and well worth the price.
It was easy to assemble and is very sturdy. I was worried that it was not dep enough, but I just harvested a 2 1/2 foot long dill stalk. I did have my husband drill in drain hold at the bottom to make sure the plants could survive some of the heavy rain storms we have had. I have not had to move it yet, so I do not know how easy it is to move. I was able to easily move the planter before plants were added to it. Great purchase and it looks good in my yard.

Great design, easy assembly
I have been buying tiered planter shelves as I'm expanding my plant collection over the past year. This one showed up in my Amazon search results only recently and looked promising. There were no other reviews and I was a little bit hesitant, but I decided to give it a try. The assembly is a breeze. A screwdriver is needed. The shelf is only 3 parts and it took me only 5 minutes to assemble. At first, I thought the wire racks that hold the pots looked a bit flimsy, but the pots are actually quite secure after being installed properly. The pots can still be easily removed after installation, in case you need to move the entire planter. The drain holes are designed such that the water on the upper shelves would cascade towards to the lower ones. If you're using it indoors, it comes with a plug that can be placed on the bottom-most drain hole. One of the plastic pots came with a small crack on it though. It doesn't affect the functionality so I decided it was not worth the hassle to exchange it. Looks great against the wall. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase! Would buy again when I'm getting more plants.

Great customer service and product!
Update: Outstanding customer service. I messaged the seller through the contact link on their website. Even though I had ordered the planter back in September through Amazon warehouse (and I didn’t open the package until April), they still replaced the two missing bars. Unfortunately, when I went to put it together, the holes from the right and left side did not line up. I messaged them again and they sent a whole new planter. I feel like an idiot for not opening the product sooner and checking out the pieces, but I feel like the company went above and beyond what they needed to do. The planter is great quality and I have veggies planted and sprouting. So happy with the purchase and customer service! I think it would be a great planter if I had all of the parts to put it together. Unfortunately, two of the bars that support the planter boxes are missing. If I can resolve the issue, I will update the review.

Perfect Gardening Stand
This product seems like it’s very good quality material. I honestly don’t usually put things together myself but decided to do it on my own. The instructions were perfect and had no issues at all putting it together. Can’t wait to get my strawberry plants in them for a fruitful season. Loved the tiered construction.

Colours is only for planter box. Frame is actually black.
This is a nice product. Buyer FYI, 'espresso' is the colour of the planter boxes; the planter frame is black, not espresso. It still looks really nice. Also, the top part of the rack was not going in enough to align the screw holes. My. husband had to bang the upper part of the frame into the lower one to get the holes to align. It is all put together now and will hopefully last a long time!

Good.
I waited until the end of the summer to review this to see how sturdy it is. It’s great. I have lower back issues and this is perfect for planting and standing at the same time. I had a perfect little vegetable garden that had a good yield. Next summer I’ll gage it better as I did over crowd it and some vegetables did not have space to grow. Great for lettuce, basil, celery chives and many herbs but not good for Swiss chard abd carrots. I wasn’t thinking. 5/5
