I bought this to take a GoPro along on a jet ski. I think it is kind of ugly, but it does the job. I tested it in some shallow water to see if it floats and it did. Even with a clamp attachment that is heavier than the camera itself. I went with this rather than the floating handle because I was using the clamp. I have the Hero 7 and I had to cut a small square hole in one side of the case to access the power button. But, who cares? It’s already ugly.

I mean yes it floats but it is so bulky. I cannot put my goprohero8 with the silicon case cause it doesn’t fit and it would need another hole on the side for the lanyard. I ended up using a floaty that attaches on the lanyard instead.

Saved my GoPro. Lost it off my strap under a big wave. This case kept it floating and visible in the surf for 20 minutes until we found it. Very grateful!

This fites perfect & is highly visible if your GoPro goes over bord. Definitely worth the money!

Minor issue or complaint with the chest mount harness regarding foam interference while aiming. If I drop it in the ocean during a jet ski trip it most certainly will not see Davy Jones locker as my expensive sunglasses and hats have done.
