Quality game! The two sides of this dual board game are very different. We love the very unique Pennsylvania game, where you never know who wins until stocks are tallied at the end. Multiple strategies are possible. Can’t say i like the UK game. It’s an exercise in frustration. You have to collect a bunch of locomotive cards to buy a myriad of “technology cards” in order to do anything. Too many steps to make progress. Whoever is lucky with drawing lots of engines will win, and others will be blocked while they are still mired on square one. The game as a whole is worth buying, because Pennsylvania offers satisfying entertainment.

We love these games! This one is more complex than the original but we still enjoy playing it as a family. Sturdy board and quality cards. Heavy duty.

Ambos mapas presentan mecánicas nuevas e interesantes que le dan un toque muy distinto a las partidas clásicas. Sin lugar adudas UK me gusta más por lo innovador, ir desbloqueando todo lo que en lso demás juegos siempre estuvo desde un inicio, es genial.

Ticket to Ride is an already established game and the fact that this is the 5th expansion map (plus Europe and Marklin) speaks to the quality of the game. This map adds to the greatness but also adds to the complexity. The core game play is basic and ripe for expansion, and that's what this one does. The UK side of the map adds significantly to the game play to the point where you pretty much have to include the new rules. Pennsylvania could probably be played without it's new gimmick. Perhaps that's the thing that I'm looking for. It would be nice to have a new map, new routes, but without the new complex game play elements. A board and route cards, a reduced price... that would be appreciated for those of us who really enjoy the game and just want some new "scenery".

This is a great expansion! Not a standalone game like some of the other expansion sets, but adds some really fun and different strategic variables.

Great game

I bought the UK + Pennsylvania extension and it was really worth the money. I like Pennsylvania extension more, which you need to invest in the companies. For the UK extension, you need to develop your technologies so that you can expand to other land. However, there's a card that you can draw 3 cards instead of 2, which makes the game a bit unfair. But really take into account that this is the extension only and you need the "Ticket to Ride" or "Ticket to Ride Europe" to be able to play the game - you don't have the trains / station in the extension.

Best game to play with the family! We were offered one and when my nephew and niece visited we taught them how to play and before going back home (abroad) we bought this one for them! Highly recommend Easy instructions and hours of fun
