Vita-Mix Speed Control Circuit Board & 15762 - Free Shipping - Genuine OEM Replacement Part

Vita-Mix Model VM0103 worked on full speed but not on variable. My wife uses this at least every other day. After ordering the main poteniometer and not fixing the problem I returned it (thanks to Amazon easy returns) and found and ordered this variable speed circuit board assembly. It arrived in two days and included excellent instructions with color pictures of the two different motors as not all are the same, and clear color pictures of the circuit boards. On the circuit board there are two DIP switches and a Speed Potentiometer. Depending on which motor you have you may need to set the DIP switches. There are A and B motors. Mine was identified as a B motor (metal lower housing clearly shown by the provided picture). With my B motor I needed to set the DIP switches both to OFF and on all motors you will need to adjust the Speed Potentiometer on the board for optimal speed on the lowest setting (identified as 1000 to 1500 RPM in the instructions) once you have it installed. It took a couple of tries to get this where the speed sounded right on low as I made small adjustments then put the unit top back on to plug in and test. I would not suggest trying to adjust this with it open and 110 V exposed. You could get zapped or at the very least short out the board. Saved spending $450 on a new one. Just as an aside, this circuit board assembly comes with a new main potentiometer that goes in the front panel and research indicated that this main poteniometer can be be a point of failure so I kept the old one just in case.

Was having a problem with the speed control not working, so I bought a replacement part through Amazon. Unfortunately, the problem wasn't resolved so I returned it and bought this control circuit. Wasn't hard to replace, just look for YouTube tutorials and double check your connections. Comes with easy to follow instructions. Now my 25 year old Vitamix 5000 model VM0103 works like new.

Board works great to fix my Vitamix 5000. Don't replace the potentiometer. This board works great to restore the speed control, but if you want to go one step beyond, just replace the thyristor, S6025L, cheap on eBay.

I had a frustrating problem with my Vitamix 5200 with the speed spontaneously accelerating. I installed 3 different potentiometers without success. I ordered this and replaced the board (and potentiometer) and problem solved. Very happy. Required a few different screwdrivers, needle nose pliers, adjustable wrench or nut driver, good light and some patience.

Great instructions and resolved my Vitamix running at high speed regardless of the speed control knob setting.The trickiest part of replacing it was getting the connectors from the old control board off of the speed selector switch.

After many years of use, my beloved Vitamix 5000's variable speed quit working. The logical choice seemed to be the potentiometer so after ordering one and installing it the problem persisted. After a little more research and the only other possible fix, I ordered the control circuit board. After following the instructions (my model has a metal base and therefore needed to turn off the two switches on the circuit board) and installing the circuit board my Vitamix works as good as new. If I would have known beforehand I would have ordered this circuit board first since it also comes with the potentiometer. All in all I am very happy with my purchase.

The variable speed part of me vitamix blender had packed up and I virtually had just one speed--the fastest. I searched in various places trying to find the part but found nothing, until I decided to try Amazon. I had to go through several pages until I found the part. I did not think twice. I ordered it immediately and got it in 4 weeks. I am now a happy camper with my once again functioning vitamix blender.
