I'm not going to push my luck on that--following instructions to use mild detergent and lots of water only. Took me 20 minutes and one beer to install. A few days later we took it on a 70 mile trail ride. It rained and it was cold!! The windsheild held up well. What a difference it made keeping the wind, rain and cold air out of our faces!! One of the trails was extremely over grown and branches were slapping the windsheild from all sides, it was really bad, but we suffered zero scratches on the windsheild!!! One thing I noticed. There is some distortion when looking through the windsheild. It wasn't bad enough that you cannot drive but it is vidible until you get use to it. I ride with friends whose windsheild does not give the distortion but they paid more than double what I paid....
