Nice book for engineers

This book is terrible. I hope the author/editor/publisher is ashamed of this book or preferably banned from making anymore. There are errors in the text, errors in formulas, graphs, examples of how to do problems, and even the answers in the back of the book. Many many many errors. And wouldn't it be my luck that my university mandates this book to be used! At least there could be a publications of the corrections, but I suppose it would be close to a 1298 page erratum. Do not get this book if you have any option, it is obnoxious to read (even aside from the errors - which make you question everything it "teaches" you) and there is no online help for this book. ABORT

Honestly this book could be really good but it has lots of errors in everything - the formulas, the text, the answers on the back, the graphs. My God. And while at times the explanation is ok, other times it is terrible. Really confusing and almost misleading explanation at times. If you have to have this book, I would still study from it but definitely should have a professor as some kind of reference or experienced person or perhaps use online forums for additional help/verification.
