Comfy for longer!
I have an Indian scout sport 60 that I use this cushion on. I am favorably impressed with this product. Relieves pressure on the tailbone and bum. It puts the pressure sensation in the background and keeps it there for a much longer time. I recommend this, if you can find a better solution for less money then buy it, otherwise this is great!

Good pad for money
Nice air seat. Fits on my 2012 heritage. Seems to be comfortable.

Pad works, but pay attention to how you sit on it.
OK, Let me say that the pad does work, but (butt?) there is information that is important to potential buyers. First, it is very important to sit on the pad and get your relation where your butt fits on the pad. This is important, for every time you sit on the pad, you must be very close to the same location. This is because of the interconnected cells. If you are more forward or more rearward, the cells you are not sitting on will fully inflate and leave you resting totally on the seat. I do not see this as a drawback, but information you need to be aware of. Second, if your bike seat is narrow, the pad will help, but will only extend your time before your butt starts hurting. This is due to the amount of area holding up your weight. Any seat that will enlarge the amount of area supporting your weight will help, and the pad will make this very comfortable. I would give this five stars, but I wish Airhawk was much more clear on the availability of the neoprene bladders and such. I did purchase a poly, but would have much rather had this in the better material. The pad works, so I can't complain too much, but my bike will need a wider seat to extend my riding range more. FYI, My bike is a 2011 BMW R1200RT with the low seat(stock).

Not sure if it worked as advertised (no increase in long trip comfort)
This product is not with what they ask. Did it help? Maybe. A little? It's really hard to say. Followed instructions and honestly after about 3 hours, maybe 4, I felt like it just wasn't helping anymore and holding up to its promise. Took it for an 11 hour ride (turned 16 due to frequent stops) to PA. On the way home I took it off and did not use it and I started to lose comfort after about 6-7 hours. With that said, I would recommend the product as maybe I have a weird butt, but imo it's very expensive and there are cheaper options that I can't imagine are much different as far as how they work and are made. Hope this was helpful. I'm thinking it might not be the sure fire answer you were looking for.

and it really does make the seat comfortable for long tours
I have used this for one season, and it really does make the seat comfortable for long tours. It's a terrific improvement over the stock bench seat. It's primarily for long tours, as the cushion's "disconnected" feeling isn't good for short rides or spirited riding. It removes your connection from the bike, which is a detriment for sporting rides, but a benefit for long tours. Use only a minimum of air. Note that I had an earlier version, the non-R version without the center channel. This did not work for me, as it crowed my genitals. This version, the R, has a channel down the center that makes all the difference. It lives up to the claims.

FJR 1300
This is not a long term review, butt (pun intended) on the couple hundred miles that I have used it. It has been great. The key is to get the inflation just right. Not to much, not to little. I have an FJR 1300 I used the 11x11 Cruiser. Fits great. Sorry picture is not a close up. But you get the idea. Definitely makes the seat more comfortable.

Pay close attention when you buy something. Expensive lesson to learn
I Missed my return window by 10 minutes. Thought I had more time, as I only ride on weekends. Wasn't able to ride every weekend after I bought it. And it wasn't cheap. :-(

Does what it claims!
My girlfriend rides pillion with me (which is not the most comfortable place at the best of times!) and having damaged her coccyx when she was young, on our longest ride so far (about 4 hours in total) she could barely walk by the time we got back. So I bought this for her and it has worked perfectly - rode pretty much all day a couple of weeks ago and was as comfy as! Expensive but worth it...I'll be buying one for me in the near future...

So "what"? ... mir ist es das wert

Really comfortable but not suitable for a bike that is ridden ...
Really comfortable but not suitable for a bike that is ridden anything other than very smoothly. Even when firmly secured to the existing bike seat the user slides about too much for comfort. My wife found it the same in the pillion position, she found herself shifting about far to much. We have however adapted our airhawk small pillion pad (rectangle shape) we purchased into a really effective pad for a top box backrest. A highly recommended product for a very steady rider that wants to do some long distance riding. Just not so suitable for those of us who push their rides that bit harder.
