These maintenance free post caps are made to slip over the top of a nominal size 4x4 fence or deck post for a decorative finishing touch or to hide irregular post ends. These post caps can be attached by applying exterior caulk to the under-side of the post cap.

Not heavy duty, thin as a sheet of paper, scratches very easily.The only good thing about it is that it fits a post like a glove, so if you do not care how it looks like and if there's no risk of anything denting it, it would fit the bill.Too much trouble to return: no return label (even non-prepayed).
