Is this heirloom pasta?

I don’t know what heirloom pasta is, but I’ve found Rustichella d’Abruzzo to be the best on the market. At first it was hard to find. It’s more readily available now.

What grain is this? Is it whole grain?

Durum wheat semolina This is an expensive treat. It is delicious.

Package says to cook according to package directions, but there are no package directions. How long do you cook it for?

Each Rustichella D'Abruzzo dried pasta product has an individually tailored cook time on the package although they do not specify cooking specifics. This variety instructs: Cooking time: 9-11 minutes. Our recommendation for preparation: Boil water with a dash of salt, Add pasta, Stir frequently to prevent sticking/clumping, remove at 9-11 minutes depending on firmness preferred, drain but do not rinse.
