You just take the fabric, lay it out and use an eyedropper or very carefully pour a few drops on the blood stain. You will see it foam up. Gently blot that off and repeat. You might have to do this three or four times, or even more, but when you put it on and it no longer foams, the stain is gone. It's like magic. It takes almost no effort to get it out. No scrubbing, no soaking. I am no expert on fabrics, but I saw this suggestion in "Laundry Love" by Patrick Richardson (a book that will pay for itself with the first outfit you don't have to discard because it will show you how to get just about any stain out of just about any fabric) and I was amazed at how well it worked.
