These sticks are good quality, also super simple: basically a fat incense stick with mugwort.I got a tip about moxibustion from an acupuncturist: it's sort of like DIY at home acupuncture except without needles. I've been using this to help with trigger points in my mother's back. Since she has Alzheimer's she is persona non grata at pain management clinics so she can't get trigger point injections. It's also really tough to get her to acupuncture treatments because of unpredictable mood/behavior problems. This has really been a lifesaver - you light it and hold it close to the trigger point for about 5 minutes. It helps a lot, sometimes completely relaxes the muscle and it stays quiet for days. Amazing. Wish I knew about this a long time ago!

I am very pleased with this product! I immediately got a strong whiff of fresh mugwort upon opening the box these came in so that was very nice, these are definitely authentic and fresh mugwort. They were rolled perfectly so the sticks were very sturdy, they are easy to light and keep lit, the smoke they produce is very nice and thick and comes in a consistent stream. Very effective for moxibustion therapy! I highly recommend these but if you get them, don’t be a noob and make sure you have proper ventilation so your house doesn’t get filled with smoke like other reviewers complained about ;)

These Moxa sticks do work. They burn well, so when I was starting out on Moxa therapy, I really liked them because it is often so hard to get Moxa to stay lit and develop that necessary ember. However, they burn too fast; way too fast. I go through one Moxa stick in one hour. Given that I have to use eight at a time, three to four times a week, it is a lot to have to buy. With practice, I have become much more experienced at keeping the ember on the end of the stick glowing, so I use slower burning Moxa sticks that give me two uses. These do work, and they work well, but I think an experienced Moxa patient can get more efficient sticks than these and not have to burn so many so fast.

I like the product because it is very effective. You can use these Moxa Stickers when you are not feeling well like having a cold or body pain. You just light up of the Moxa sticks pointing It at the back of your neck area and keep a distance, or you can pointing it at where you have a pain on your body. You will feel your body warms up. It is a very good feeling.
