Leonidas are some of the best chocolates around. We used to live in Frankfurt and whenever we travelled by car to Sevenoaks in Kent we always stopped over in Belgium to buy a large box of Leonidas Chocolates. This was in the Seventies. I haven’t had them for some time but I bought them online for a big birthday of a friend a few days ago. I know she received them but hadn’t opened them yet. So I hope they will still be as delicious as before !

These chocolates are good, would not rave about them, have had better, would expect a little more from real Belgium Chocolates, glad brought them via Amazon, they are far more expensive on their own website. Still saying that if your looking for a present not sure what to get, these would come handy as a present and the box is very well presented, and a good explanation in side of some of the different chocolates this company does.

They are lovely real quality chocolates, obviously not cheap but the old adage applies, you get what you pay for. In saying that his seller was the cheapest price I could find online for this particular assortment by Leonidas.

Well…. These were interesting! The usual Leonidas quality. Very nice. The trouble was we couldn’t work out which chocolates we were eating. The chocolate guide with quite explicit descriptions only coincided occasionally with the actual chocolates….. And we checked it. A lot. It made for a fun and interesting time especially the apple shaped and flavoured fruit jelly that sat smack bang in the middle of the top layer. No mention of that one on the guide as it wasn’t actually a chocolate, if one is being ever so slightly pedantic…… Leonidas are mostly pralines which is why I bought them. They were nice. Not sure I’d buy them again from Amazon as I was left with the impression that they had been shoved into a rather odd compilation. Oh And then there were the four mushroom shaped ones with slightly alarming spots of a different colour chocolate that had also managed to dodge the guide. Well done Leonidas!! You gave us such a giggle and the chocolates were very nice!! Not sure I’d be happy buying these as a present for someone though. They might think I was taking the Mick…..

Excellent gift

(unfortunately can’t seem to amend my original review) but I received a replacement box of assorted chocolates from the seller, and I have to say they tasted delicious, would highly recommend these 👍🏼

Nice shipping package. The chocolate box was not crushed at all. And the chocolates are just delicious.
