Works wonders - but takes time
After reading the reviews, patience is key. Slow draining tub due to hair clog - Once all the water was drained with plunger, I followed the instructions. Half the bottle in but I let it sit overnight. Next morning, pot of boiling down the drain, drained much faster but not gone GONE, ya know. I poured the rest of the bottle in the 2nd night - repeated the steps. Clean as a whistle - no more clog nor slow drain. I suggest emptying the vessel of all standing water before using this product for the best results. BTW- I live in an apartment bldg, not a house - in case you thought it was just for houses.

Absolutely the best drain cleaner I have used.
Absolutely the best drain cleaner I have every used. Drano and Liquid Plumber would not completely clear the line but Green Gobbler cleared it no problem and it has stayed clear. Wonderful product. Will purchase again just to have for the future needs.

Seems to work as a treatment
Use it as a monthly treatment about 1/3 bottle every couple of weeks. City sewer but line is old and two women in home who love body washes , fancy shampoos and conditioners. They also wash cloths seems constantly. Add in tp,lol. Been working for me , knock on wood , now for awhile.

It worked when the plumber failed!!
I have a kitchen sink that keeps getting clogged. The clog is not in the trap or the sink cabinet. The clog is further down, possibly in the main. The plumber came and snaked something in the basement, that cleared it initially, but within 3 weeks, water started backing up into my sink again when I ran the dishwasher. This time it got particularly bad - it would take a full day for a sink full of water to go down. I ordered this product. I drained the sink (with buckets, and then emptied the rest at the trap) so that the product could go into the pipes, and not dilute with the standing water. Then I poured the entire bottle in at night. I could see bubbles in the drain and could hear them in the trap under the sink, so I knew something was happening. Then the next morning I poured a big pot of boiling water down the drain. It went down!!!! Then I ran the dishwasher again. A small amount of water backed into the sink, and was gone within one minute. So it's way better!! I ordered several more bottles of this so that I can do it again, and clear the rest of the clog. Exciting!!! It's worth noting that I believe this is probably a residual grease clog, not hair or food, etc. We do not pour grease down the drain, but I do have a high fat diet and tend to put greasy plates/pans in the dishwasher. We also use eco-friendly dishwasher detergent, so it may be that the detergent wasn't enough for our greasy dishes. Live and learn. We have a puppy now, who has graciously offered to do our prewashing, so that should alleviate the problem over time. For the many reviews that say this doesn't work, I wonder if that is because they are pouring into a sink full of water, and thus diluting it beyond effectiveness. I also have no experience using it on hair clogs, so don't know if it will work in those cases. I wish people would stop saying that this product doesn't work. It does work. I'm a real person, not a paid reviewer.

Amazing but not a quick fix. We're talking days and you do need that hot water.
I can say with confidence that when people have a poor experience with this stuff it's because they're not understanding how slowly it works. It needs heat to jumpstart the enzyme and reapplying heat periodically helps At work. But it is chewing in slow motion through blockage and it can take a full week to clear out a mainline sewer drain that is clogged with paper and human waste and some animal grease. If you have someplace you can go for several days and you want to try this you absolutely should. I have a basement drain and it's where my washer hooks up so I have access to hot water from a spigot that I can run directly into the drain. I poured the jug right in there having figured out using a plumbing guide where the blockage likely was so that I could run hot water upstream and then pour in the jug. Then I went away for six days. You could use compost toilet or porta potty for 6 days too. But it needs a long time to do the job. Think if you were asking bleach to eat a hole in fabric it will definitely do it but it takes hours. If you have a blockage that is several inches thick it's going to take that kind of time and more so. I went back mid week and ran more hot water down the pipe to jumpstart the enzymes again because they work much faster in a warmer but not boiling temperature. It's not Drano so if you're looking for that kind of speed you will think you've poured a jug of water down there and wasted your money. But if you can wait a long time you will be amazed because it cleared a clog for me that kept reappearing after it was roto rooted. I think a bunch of leaves had gotten in the basement stairwell drain and crumbled up over the course of the winter so the crumbled mulch also went into the sewer drain and I think that was the killer that finally plugged it up entirely. That this enzyme could clear that is pretty amazing.

4 Containers Later & So Disappointed,
First of all, you have to know that my husband & I are senior citizens that live on a limited income. So we don't have money to hire a plumber when we have a problem with the pipes. And both of us are handicap, with my husband having open heart surgery recently. Just wanted you to know why I was really hoping that this drainage opener would work for us. We have 2 bathrooms in my house, one on each end of the house. The bathroom that I call my bathroom was the one that gave us trouble. When I flushed it, the water did not go all the way down. I tried it several times with no luck. Then I plunged and plunged it with no luck. So I got here on Amazon looking for something that might unstop my toilet. This product had the best reviews and also sounded as if it would be easy for me to use. I was so excited to get it. Well I did as the instructions suggested. I poured the whole container down the toilet and let it sit for 24 hours. After 24 hours I boiled some water on the stove and poured it into the toilet and flushed. Still no luck. So several more times I boiled water and tried to flush it down the toilet. Then my husband told me that my tub was probably part of the problem because the toilet & the tub drain were connected together. So I got back on Amazon and ordered another container. This time when I got it I poured some down the tub drain and the rest down the toilet. Again I waited 24 hours, boiled water, poured it down the toilet and down the tub drain. Toilet still would not flush. I plunged both the toilet and the tube drain and still no luck. So next I came back here and ordered two more containers. One container for the toilet and one for the tub drainage. Once again I waited 24 hours, poured boiled water down both the toilet and the tub drain--and plunged and plunged with no results. For hours after that I kept pouring boiled water down the toilet and down the tub drain. By then I was crying because I had no idea what we were going to do because we just did not have the money to pay a plumber. I also have a medical problem that makes me a prisoner of my bathroom so it was almost a medical necessity for me to have the use of my bathroom. Finally a friend of mine had her husband to come over and crawl under our house and take the pipe apart that went to my bathroom. My husband could not do this because of his heart condition. What he found was a wad of toilet tissue plugging up the pipe. Now I have never put anything down my toilet but toilet paper so that made sense about what he found. I just don't understand why this drainage opener did not work after all the good reviews that I found and with all the bottles of it bought. If this had worked, I would have ordered some to keep for a maintenance dose--using one about every 2 months. I am so disappointed.

Green Gobbler is a fantastic product 👍
This product is absolutely amazing! I had the worst kitchen sink grease clog and nothing would cut through it. Only used 1/2 jug of Green Gobbler, let it sit overnight, boiled a pan of hot water down the sink the next day and it cleared the clog up immediately! Would definitely purchase again.

Makes Life So Much Easier
After having to pay out an obscene sum to a plumber to get me back in the game after my underground sewer lines had been clogged up, I found that I was still floundering, and needed help. I had been roto-rooted, and now, one year later, in the spring, when the roots are growing again, I was back to square one. I used the root-killer, and that had helped a lot, but my toilet still wasn't flushing quite right. I knew that there are other things that can cause sewer line backup, but since you can't see underground, you don't know for sure what's going on. But I definitely did have a clog, so I qualified for this little number. I poured the entire jug into the toilet, and let it sit overnight. Then, the next morning, when I flushed, (keeping my fingers crossed) it flushed normally, thank God, and acted like a proper toilet should, just as smooth as silk. It has since been behaving perfectly normally, and I couldn't be more grateful for this fantastic product. Realistically, all we are trying to accomplish is clear and open sewer lines, so that we can flush away the waste quickly and cleanly, without backups or complications. However we get to that condition, that's what we should do. If augering out your sewer lines is what needs to be done, that's fine. But to me, if we can achieve our goal in an easier and less expensive manner, that makes much more sense. In the past, we didn't have the miracle chemicals that accomplish the job quickly and easily, and a plumber was our only recourse. Now, however, plumbers are history, as far as I'm concerned. And it couldn't have happened any too soon. Quite honestly, just like the aircraft carrier rendered the battleship obsolete, these new natural chemicals have put the plumber on the shelf, where he rightfully belongs, and hopefully, will stay. They have been shamelessly milking the public for these many years, charging outrageous fees, simply because they have tendered a service that most of us are woefully ignorant about, and helpless in the face of a sewer system that won't drain properly. But in the end, all we're looking for is normal sewer service, and augering out the sewer line is very temporary, at best, because it only cuts out the tree roots - which will immediately grow back. But roto-rooting also gives him the opportunity to find untold other "problems," which he will need to "fix," and thereby pad his bill even further. Plus, getting rid of the hair and gunk that are clogging up the works, and hindering the free flow of the water in the line, which is the other reason for the services of a plumber. And so, we have two different situations: Roots in the sewer line, as well as hair and gunk clogs, which are two separate problems, needing two different solutions. But not to worry - Green Gobbler has them both covered, thank goodness! This is not exactly rocket science, but it is something that most people know virtually nothing about, and has long given the plumber the green light to squeeze us for every nickel he can get. And believe me, they are not bashful about sticking out their hand, palm up, and expecting you to fill it. Except it's far from nickel and dime; more like hundreds, or even thousands of dollars. If the simple introduction into the sewer line of scientifically designed chemicals, which are benign, and will not harm the environment or the skin of the person making the application, but will achieve the desired purpose, my own thought is that this is definitely the way to go. It goes without saying that a few dollars for a plastic jug of chemicals is considerably easier to deal with than a bill from the plumber that makes you need a second mortgage on your home. And I am not kidding. It's definitely a no-brainer, as far as I'm concerned.

Good less harmful solution.
We switched products from harsher chemicals that damage the pipes over time leading potentially to failure. This product since we started using it has generally removed the blockages / partial clog's effectively. What is can’t fully resolve is a lower flow toilet that doesn’t provide the “force” the older ones with higher water flow move faster towards the main drain. Shipping problem was resolved efficiently by the seller with good communications and quick replacement of the damaged item. Recommend both the product and supplier.

Good products ... even better service
So the block we had was going to be potentially problematic but wanted to give this a try. Unfortunately the blockage didn’t shift we have to rethink the plan. However this doesn’t mean the product doesn’t work I have still got faith in it ..... the company could not have been better when we spoke they were amazing and offered solutions and gave me a full refund as I wasn’t 100% satisfied, could you really ask for anything else. I will for sure use the green gobbler again for other clogs and blocks and recommend always. Thank you

Sembra funzionare! / It seems to work!
Per fortuna ho ordinato 2 flaconi insieme!// After we had several guests for over a year, some bidets, sinks and showers were not working well anymore and I was scared to threw hairs and stuff in there even though we asked them not to do so. Tried the Green Gobbler Ultima already for a bidet where the water took for ages to go, left the product for 24 hours and than rinsed with hot water: it went away like a dream! What's more: also the bath seems to be on the same tubing as there also the water went quickly at the next shower! Great! I am now going to do all others where the water did not flow away well. Luckily I ordered 2 bottles at once!
