Great for Main Line clogs
This product worked great. I’ve had chronic issues with clogs in my kitchen sink drain and over the years have had to call a plumber to snake out the line. The thing that people need to understand is the difference between a clog in the drain and a clog in the main line. If your clog is in the main line you need this MAIN LINE opener not the regular drain opener. There is a difference in the product formulas for these two products. I had tried the “drain” opener with no success. I did some deeper research to see if there was a product for the main line and found this. So if your clog is a in the main line, this product works great. One treatment with only half the bottle letting it sit overnight cleared my clog. So much cheaper than a plumber too. Though it might be overkill, I plan to use this product in smaller amounts for monthly maintenance.

Makes Life So Much Easier
After having to pay out an obscene sum to a plumber to get me back in the game after my underground sewer lines had been clogged up, I found that I was still floundering, and needed help. I had been roto-rooted, and now, one year later, in the spring, when the roots are growing again, I was back to square one. I used the root-killer, and that had helped a lot, but my toilet still wasn't flushing quite right. I knew that there are other things that can cause sewer line backup, but since you can't see underground, you don't know for sure what's going on. But I definitely did have a clog, so I qualified for this little number. I poured the entire jug into the toilet, and let it sit overnight. Then, the next morning, when I flushed, (keeping my fingers crossed) it flushed normally, thank God, and acted like a proper toilet should, just as smooth as silk. It has since been behaving perfectly normally, and I couldn't be more grateful for this fantastic product. Realistically, all we are trying to accomplish is clear and open sewer lines, so that we can flush away the waste quickly and cleanly, without backups or complications. However we get to that condition, that's what we should do. If augering out your sewer lines is what needs to be done, that's fine. But to me, if we can achieve our goal in an easier and less expensive manner, that makes much more sense. In the past, we didn't have the miracle chemicals that accomplish the job quickly and easily, and a plumber was our only recourse. Now, however, plumbers are history, as far as I'm concerned. And it couldn't have happened any too soon. Quite honestly, just like the aircraft carrier rendered the battleship obsolete, these new natural chemicals have put the plumber on the shelf, where he rightfully belongs, and hopefully, will stay. They have been shamelessly milking the public for these many years, charging outrageous fees, simply because they have tendered a service that most of us are woefully ignorant about, and helpless in the face of a sewer system that won't drain properly. But in the end, all we're looking for is normal sewer service, and augering out the sewer line is very temporary, at best, because it only cuts out the tree roots - which will immediately grow back. But roto-rooting also gives him the opportunity to find untold other "problems," which he will need to "fix," and thereby pad his bill even further. Plus, getting rid of the hair and gunk that are clogging up the works, and hindering the free flow of the water in the line, which is the other reason for the services of a plumber. And so, we have two different situations: Roots in the sewer line, as well as hair and gunk clogs, which are two separate problems, needing two different solutions. But not to worry - Green Gobbler has them both covered, thank goodness! This is not exactly rocket science, but it is something that most people know virtually nothing about, and has long given the plumber the green light to squeeze us for every nickel he can get. And believe me, they are not bashful about sticking out their hand, palm up, and expecting you to fill it. Except it's far from nickel and dime; more like hundreds, or even thousands of dollars. If the simple introduction into the sewer line of scientifically designed chemicals, which are benign, and will not harm the environment or the skin of the person making the application, but will achieve the desired purpose, my own thought is that this is definitely the way to go. It goes without saying that a few dollars for a plastic jug of chemicals is considerably easier to deal with than a bill from the plumber that makes you need a second mortgage on your home. And I am not kidding. It's definitely a no-brainer, as far as I'm concerned.

It took more than 24 hours, but it worked.
We have used Green Gobbler before, and it worked just fine. This order was to have it on hand for a future event.

Yes definite yes
Lifesaver product, cannot live without, use for toilet bit since im 2nd floor, I use a little at a time. I buy 2 at a time so when I've opened the 2nd one, I order again soon chance of running out. The manual plunger not work for me and this is better than pouring bucket of water down the toilet but if I go too long without using it, I sometimes do that first. Works immediately

This stuff is a miracle worker!
I'd give it ten stars if I could. This stuff broke up clogs that 2 full bottles of Maximum strength Drano, a 30 foot electric auger, and even one of those crazy plumbing air guns couldn't crack a dent in. I don't know what's in this stuff, but if you have a clog or backed up drains, get this before you call the plumber. We bought two bottles to start- poured half of one down the tub drain, and waited about 6 hours. There was improvement, but not a total clearance. So we poured the other half bottle down the drain in the tub, and half a bottle of the other down the toilet in the same bathroom. Waited overnight, and the next morning, boiled water, and poured the boiling water down both. You need to use BOILING water- if your house is cold, put a space heater in front of the toilet bowl for at least 15 minutes, just to keep it from cracking from the temperature change with the boiled water- and be generous- I think we put about 5x 3-gallon buckets of boiled water down each drain. Within 5 minutes of doing it, we heard the clog basically clear itself completely. Our drains run fabulous now. The shower doesn't fill up from slow draining, and this keeps clogs from even starting. I keep this stuff on hand at all times. The hot water is key- and let the stuff sit as long as possible first. A good 8 hours, if you can. Anytime now that we notice the drains slowing or backing up a bit, we use this. It's a maintenance product too, so we use about 1/3 of a bottle every 3-4 months, even if it doesn't clog, just to keep everything moving. The best part is that it won't destroy your drains- it's not caustic. It definitely has a smell, but it's no worse than any other drain cleaner, kind of a slight sulphur smell, but that goes away after 24 hours. Have also bought the septic tank version by mistake - different products, so I gave it to my dad, and he loves it too.

We switched products from harsher chemicals that damage the pipes over time leading potentially to failure. This product since we started using it has generally removed the blockages / partial clog's effectively. What is can’t fully resolve is a lower flow toilet that doesn’t provide the “force” the older ones with higher water flow move faster towards the main drain. Shipping problem was resolved efficiently by the seller with good communications and quick replacement of the damaged item. Recommend both the product and supplier.

So the block we had was going to be potentially problematic but wanted to give this a try. Unfortunately the blockage didn’t shift we have to rethink the plan. However this doesn’t mean the product doesn’t work I have still got faith in it ..... the company could not have been better when we spoke they were amazing and offered solutions and gave me a full refund as I wasn’t 100% satisfied, could you really ask for anything else. I will for sure use the green gobbler again for other clogs and blocks and recommend always. Thank you

Per fortuna ho ordinato 2 flaconi insieme!// After we had several guests for over a year, some bidets, sinks and showers were not working well anymore and I was scared to threw hairs and stuff in there even though we asked them not to do so. Tried the Green Gobbler Ultima already for a bidet where the water took for ages to go, left the product for 24 hours and than rinsed with hot water: it went away like a dream! What's more: also the bath seems to be on the same tubing as there also the water went quickly at the next shower! Great! I am now going to do all others where the water did not flow away well. Luckily I ordered 2 bottles at once!
