Great to dry long locs!
I have waist length traditional locs and it’s starting to become a hassle to dry them. I’ve been eying this product for a while and finally bit the bullet and purchased it.I tested it out with drying my hair with flexi rods. I have a bonnet dryer on wheels (not the table top kind). I love that my dryer can get super hot and dry the front and top of my hair but the back is always a trouble to dry. I find that I have to adjust my head to get the proper angle to dry.So here comes this great invention. It has two openings, a larger elastic portion with a mesh border that fits around the base of the dryer and a smaller elastic portion that fits around your head. There is an elastic drawstring along with ties to make it fit to your head better. It definitely keeps the heat off my face, ears, and neck. I actually have to turn the temperature of my dryer down since it concentrates the heat so well. It also keeps the volume of the dryer down so I can finally watch TV without the captions on when I’m under the dryer! My hair dries evenly, even the tricky area of the nape of my neck. The one thing I expected was that it would inflate like the picture but I guess that would depend on the strength of your dryer.I also received three plastic caps with the black nylon one. I wasn’t expecting that so that was a nice surprise. I haven’t used them yet but I’m sure they will work great.Would definitely recommend this product!

Product is amazing for locs!!
Best purchase for drying my growing locs. I have a standing dryer & it fits perfectly. instead of 45+ minutes...... my hair dried in 25 minutes. Love this product. May buy another just as a backup & for when I dry at the salon.

Wonderful
I just want to say that I am sooo thankful for this product. This company's customer service is also great. My very full, beautifully coarse 3-C/4-A/4b, mid-legnth loc-ed hair was dry with ease and finnally without any dicomfort of the heat and uneven-ness of un-dried hair. A total 5 star rating. I wish I kept the letter sent with the package to write the company personally.

Nice concept
This is a nice concept. This is the black nylon model not the plastic seen in some of the review pictures. I was happy about this as I did not want plastic. It is intended to encase the hair under the dryer. Since the heat/air is maintained under the nylon, the hair will dry faster and keep the rest of the face/body from feeling the heat/air. Please keep in mind that you can only use this with a hooded dryer that has all 360 degrees of the base exposed. If you are attempting to use it with a portable hooded dryer or a professional dryer that has the base built into the back of the hood (what I had), it WILL NOT work as intended as the nape/neck area will be exposed &/or hold the user too close to the rear of the dryer. This is disappointing. I can still see how the product would/could work and be useful though. The only negatives I have about the product are as follows: (1) there is an elastic string outside of the cap that is meant to help hold the cap in place on the dryer. It broke immediately out of the package. I had not even applied it to the dryer yet. As soon as I took it out of the plastic, the string popped loose and could not be resecured. ] (2) The cap needs something to rest on/cling to. Otherwise, it may slide around as some reviews have shared. I would suggest using this on a dryer with a bit of a lip at the base to keep it from poppig off. (3) This would work well for rollersets, updos, etc. I'm natural and wanted to use this to dry my wash and gos (hair hanging naturally.) My hair is chin length. Much longer than that and I imagine this product would not work well. The hair would bundle up at the base or not fit in the cap at all. (4) This product needs to have a drawstring option in addition to the elastic. The elastic makes it easier for the cap to slide on both the person and the dryer. An added drawstring would help the user secure the cap and keep it in place. An opening with 2 drawstrings at the back would also allow this product to work on dryers connected at the base which many people have. Just cutting a small flap out of the back with two strings attached could allow the user to tie the base around the back of the user's neck making this even more useful on professional or portable dryers. I'm hopeful that someday they will consider such an option. All in all, this is a good concept but could use a few improvements to make it a true homerun.

Cut drying time! Keep cool!
This is a phenomenal attachment you can purchase for your existing bonnet hair dryer. As a child of stylists, I've been setting my own hair for years. One thing you could always count on is how much time you were going to spend under the dryer: for me, it was an hour.On a whim, I purchased this attachment. I figured for the price, it was worth it to experiment. It works like this: This is some nylon, kind of looks like a skirt. One end of the skirt is narrow, the other end is wide. The wide end covers the opening of the bonnet, like putting a skirt on the bonnet. Once that's attached, you put your head in all its curler-ed glory through the elastic smaller end (the elastic is really stretchy, so even with my huge rollers, it's no big deal getting through).Putting the hood on the bonnet dryer does 3 things: keeps your ears cool, keeps exposed skin (like your neck and shoulders) from being affected by heat and last and best of all, It. Shortens. Drying. Time.I can now have my hair dried in 40 minutes instead of a full hour. It's been a game changer. Highly recommended!

Impossible to attach & keep on dryer!
Impossible to keep from slipping off the dryer. Bonnet comes with no written instructions -although I'm pretty resourceful at figuring things out. I am stumped. Instead, I now use a large man's T-shirt (cut along one seam) to form a tent which keeps warm air directed mainly at my hair. Good luck. If you figure it out, write a review so the rest of us can try it.

Great dryer cap. Thanks.
Great product. When cap gets hot it does steam around the rim. Other than that, it does stay pretty cool.
