Rimmel London Lasting Finish Lipstick 200 Red Lèvres 4g

I used to use this back in the 90s, but I couldn’t remember the name of the colour, although I knew it was something shimmer. I actually thought it would have been discontinued, so didn’t pursue it. Finally, I saw it mentioned on social media and it rang a bell. Found it, ordered it and so happy with it. It’s the perfect deep pink, beautiful texture, and performs well. It’s never going to stay on for hours, it’s a standard lipstick, but it’s moisturising and sits comfortably on the lips, with no strong taste or smell. Absolute bargain.

I grabbed this on a whim and honestly expected it to fade by lunchtime. It didn’t. I put it on around 7am and it was still holding up after two coffees, a sandwich, and me absent-mindedly biting my lip like always. The colour payoff is strong and you don’t have to keep layering it. The texture feels smooth going on and it doesn’t dry into that weird flaky mask some long wear lipsticks get. If I had to nitpick, the tube feels lighter than I thought it would and the cap isn’t the most secure, so I keep it in its own pocket in my bag. Still, the staying power alone makes it worth the money. If you want something you can apply once and forget about, this does the job.

This lipstick came very quickly. Thank you seller. It is a very pretty colour, is smooth and creamy on application BUT it DOES NOT stay on forever no matter what is eaten or drunk, as is claimed online-it disappears like snow off a dyke, very quickly and needs multi applications throughout a day. Unfortunately, that it was a stayer is what attracted me to buy it, so that is very disappointing.
