I live in Texas. The foam causes sweat in temps greater than 70degrees. To avoid a smelly cradle cap or fungal infection on our little one’s head, when the helmet became sweaty and smelly, I took it off. I used Dr. Bronner’s brand Pure Castile Soap -tea tree. And put the liquid soap on a paper towel. Whiped it on and left for 10min. Then I wet a new paper towel and whiped the Castile soap off. Good as new.
