It feels very rich and makes my skin feel soft. At first I wasn't sure I would like the scent, but I love it!

First, I feel the need to say that I have severe keratosis pilaris, and severely dry skin accompanies that condition, so lotions and body butters don’t always behave normally on my skin. If you also have KP, this may answer some questions about this product. With KP and severely dry skin in mind, this is definitely a body butter you’d want to use if you’re not going anywhere. It takes a while to absorb, and even when it is absorbed, it kind of feels like you have a thin layer of oil on your skin. Great for at-home spa time, or for moisturizing overnight, but not for everyday leaving the house stuff. I use it for moisturizing overnight, and it’s great. Another thing to comment on is the scent. I purchased citrus-vanilla, but it smells like lemon-banana in the container. After it’s absorbed into your skin, *then* you smell a citrus-vanilla scent that’s so delicate and tiny that it’s just downright cute. As someone who also experiences migraines that are easily triggered by strong scents, I’m happy to say the scent is mild (at least to my nose), and it does not trigger migraines.

It’s a nice body butter, works fairly well. But I’m not sure if it’s really a favorite of mine, the scent isn’t a natural smelling apple or pear. You know what it smells exactly like.. green apple Laffy Taffy! Lol it’s pretty strong, some nights I love it and sometimes I really don’t so I’m torn. But scent aside it does work to soothe itchy dry skin

It is creamy and has a light scent. Helped my skin to feel smoother and less dry.

Love, love, love this product! The scent I bought was Milk and Honey. It's not a heavy scent, the body butter is not heavy. The trick is don't use too much to start with. A little goes a long way.You can always add more if needed. I've only been using this product a short time, and have seen a major difference in my skin, which tends to be on the dry side. It absorbs into the skin and isn't greasy, or only. I also love that it's 8.5 oz. Most other body butters are 6.5 oz.

I had heard good things about this product line. I have very dry skin. This product goes on smoothly and does a good job moisturizing. I was initially put off by the fragrance: when the jar is opened, it smells like artificial banana. Once it is applied, the fragrance eases off, and smells more like pear. Even so, I'm not sure that in a blind sniff test one could identify the fragrance as either pear or apple. Overall, I like this product, but I like my unscented Eucerin cream better, for both moisturizing and fragrance.

This is an excellent body butter that I use even on my face. Keeps my skin very soft and smooth.

I purchased the Avani Dead Sea Ultra Rich Body Butter on a whim - more accurately, I was unable to get my usual body butter and stumbled upon this one. I am glad I did. The body butter is rich and creamy, smells pleasantly, and is absorbs fairly quickly into the skin. Unlike others, it does not leave a slimy residue or makes you feel awkwardly sticky. Overall, it leaves my sensitive skin soft, smooth, and soothed. It's a great product - very much recommendable.
