Our powder blue isopods for sale make great cleanup crews and will make easy work cleaning up any reptile habitats and enclosures, they encounter. Often called powdery blue, due to the powdery like substance they secret onto their backs to help maintain proper humidity levels. This little isopod pet is part of the Porcellionides genus which has many types of isopods and morphs as they are known. The most prolific being the powder orange. They are a deep blue color and are a very easy species to keep as most pruinosus morphs do well in most environments. Powder blue isopods are one of the best clean-up crews out there! They breed very fast and have large broods once established, so you’ll have your hands full of bugs in no time! Our powder blue isopods are a great beginner species for those new to these little critters! You can learn more about isopod care on our blog if you are new to isopod pets. Whether you are looking for isopods for sale as pets or more interested in adding them to your favorite reptile habitat to aid in the cleanup, these little critters are perfect. They are safe to add to any hard body reptile enclosure as they will not harm or affect the behavior of the animal in anyway. Started with 10 and let them mellow out in my created gecko tank for a couple months. I finally started seeing them and one day around the 7 month mark I lifted a piece of cork bark to see a lot of babies and adults. Prolific, resilient, and amazing clean up crew!
