So I'm writing this for the people who aren't experienced in this kind of thing. This is a replacement of my first set which was actually more expensive than this one. That's why I'm here so anyone reading these reviews can get an actual real life suggestion and some real "here's what I think" and hopefully it will apply to your situation. So the basics get covered it was packaged in a nice box and thick plastic (after I cut them I realized) resealable bag lol. OK on to the useful stuff. What I like about this and HATE about the last one I had are the kind of plastic the pegs are made from. These are solid and durable. They slide easy but.... Not when they lock down. It's so infuriating to measure, then cut and find that the pegs moved after being clamped down. This does not happen with these! Also as a bonus the larger one has two separate working clamps. So if you want to make two smaller measurements you can. That is probably the best feature of these. They do have measurements on the plastic so that you can see but I always use a tape for that. Another thing is that they stay snug along curved lines. The picture of the charcuterie board is an example. They stay right up against whatever they are put on. These work so well I think I'll be using them for more than just design cuts on boards. Granted I've only had two pairs but these are so much more functional and easy to use than the last... If you have come this far in my review just buy it man. I've made 3 boards and they work great. Also of note for my cutting board guys, mineral oil does NOT affect the clamping strength. What I mean is that the plastic doesn't slide when clamped if you happen to get oil on the pegs somewhere.

This is a great idea and this will work, but it is all plastic and difficult to lock into the shape you want it in. Execution of the idea would have been better with quality ingredients!

I purchased this for my husband to use for building stairs next to a rock wall they work out perfect very easy to use for size down to the very last centimeters would definitely recommend this we tried to use our own template that we made out of cardboard and it did not work I found these in order to him and he was very happy with them was able to complete the project a lot faster using this tool I would definitely recommend it

Good product

I don't know what I was expecting but I ended up returning these. Cool idea, I can see the application uses, but if the space is in-between the nodes it's not a perfect cut.

For the most part these are great to have and I would be lost without them. The only issue I have is sometimes all the blades move together instead of on their own. This requires me to push individual blades to get a good reading on a contour. I minor inconvenience though. I would still purchase them again.

I previously had a similar tool made from metal without the lock. This set of 2 duplicators really fit the bill as the intended use environment was on a boat (think rusted wet metal tools). There is a little curve and that is where I am now. You end up practicing by taking angles of everything - it is fun and develops the skill needed. No problems with the seller. Product as described on time.

Very sturdy contour gauge. Can be used around the house to trace wierd and odd shapes. I wouldnt say that I use it very often, nut it comes in handy. As far as build quality goes, it is pretty strong. Not flimsy, but tight. Maybe a little too tight. I guess that issue should go away the more I use it.
