Be careful of the version you choose!
I was looking for used and I purchased the cheapest in very good condition. Turns out it came from a seller in Germany and the DVD was region coded not to play in the US. It turns out it was my fault since I didn't notice that when I choose the version, the description, in fine print, changes to "import". Also, after looking at the seller's description, they gave a warning of the region code - which I missed.Anyways, I was able to get past the region code on my computer. The DVD is Excellent!. Clear 5.1 surround sound. Clean 4.3, unclipped videos. Great song list order.

Great mixes, wish they made all their albums in 5.1 DVD-Audio
The videos are mostly know by everybody who is reading this.Listening to the songs in 5.1 is a totaly new experience and its is great. The only bad thing is they made it only in Dolby Digital which comapred to (at least) DTS or Hi-Rez DVD-A is dull. The music is still great thou, becasue the mixes are very good. "One" sounds better than ever.I dont know how the DVD-A of Black album did saleswise, but is is a ver good mix, and I could really imagine all of Metallicas albums, made in Hi-REz DVD-A with mulchannel mix, Master of Puppets anyone?Metallica love money, so reissuing ther plast albums in new formats would be squeezing the last drop of money with very like work to do. I dont mind, I would pay for that.

Amazon takes care of it’s loyal customers!!!
Thank y’all for exchanging this dvd, the other one I ordered was from Germany. The code from it wouldn’t play on my dvd player. I should have known because it took almost a month to arrive, but sometimes I’m not that perceptive. Thank y’all for repairing my mistake!!!!

Music Videos are What You Get
It shows the music videos in chronilogical order. It has more than music videos after they show Some Kind of Monster but I have yet to watch that. I also would like to mention the benefit of being able to view the videos individually from the DVD menu (which is actually worth waiting for a moment to watch) I bought mine used and it cameatched but if you buy it, I reccomend to get it new.

Censorship sucks, Metallica (for the most part) sucks now
Censorship sucks, Metallica (for the most part) sucks now. And Warner brothers most definitely sucks. Metallica let the label put out a censored piece of junk. Way to go James & Lars. I remember when you used to be good, I remember when you where my favorite band. You didn't do stuff like this back in those days, you just made good music. Whiskey in the jar is censored. Turn the page is censored. This doesn't even deserve one star. Metallica & Warner brothers destroyed the art of Metallica & Jonas Akerlund on this DVD. While some people might not think this is a big deal, I do. These music companies sit on copyright and refuse to release art, and to release uncensored art, hording it away for themselves. Refusing to share it with those who would like to appreciate it. Think about that. They complain about people downloading their copyrighted art, but refuse to give you a legal way to buy the uncensored product. They couldn't market music videos to fans if someone came in and hit them over the head with the business plan to do it with. This DVD is just another shining example of them not giving fans what they want & trying to maximize profits through censorship. They are dinosaurs, they are clueless. The whine and complain about people not paying for things, then make things that aren't worth paying for. Collectively the music industry has screwed up more music video collections than they have gotten right. Amazon needs to provide me with the option for no stars so I can properly rate their products. I mean if you want to release a censored version for the uptight folks, fine, but don't censor my product because I don't want my product censored, and I don't think a few uptight people should make it so there isn't one. Clearly the only way to get a superior product from the music industry is to make a bigger noise than the people whining about nudity and swear words, challenge accepted!

Decades Music Videos Collection on One DVD
Great decades set of music videos. Although, sometimes it skips a little until you clean the disc a few times.

Buy it and stop reading reviews...haha no seriously, even no its only DVD its a good picture, and even no its not DTS, the Dolby digital is still quite worthy of some serious volume......rock on.
