I first pulled any weeds or grass growing in the seam and I am sure I didn't get all of the roots. Then applied this product. Nothing has grown back, yet. If there are a lot of weeds or grass growing in the seam, maybe use a weed killer first. **Q: Up to how wide a crack can I fill with this product?** A: Hi, it is best to stay at a 1/2" or under. If it is a deep crack, add a backer rod 1st so the product will then cure even with the surface. Please let us know if you have any other questions.
