Great coverage
Perfect for tattoo cover up or makeup. High quality. I will purchase another one next summer.

It is very hard to see what I'm doing enough to get good coverage and a good color match since my tattoo ...
I bought this to cover my neck tattoo for my nursing clinicals. It is very hard to see what I'm doing enough to get good coverage and a good color match since my tattoo is behind my ear BUT I've also been using this to cover my dark circles under my eyes. Wow!! I have never found any concealer or foundation that has ever covered them because they're pretty dark. This makeup is thick enough that I just have to dab my finger in it lightly and blot it under my eyes and voilà, my dark circles are gone! I'm going to have to buy more of this because I've used more than I intended to for eyes that I probably won't have enough to cover my tattoo for long. I do, however, wish that I could but just the three colors I use because the two darkest ones will never be used.

Doesn't cover, doesn't blend, doesn't work. If you want coverage this isn't it.
The Mehron Tattoo Cover was a complete miss for me. I bought it specifically to cover a small age spot on smooth skin, and it couldn’t even do that. The texture is stiff, waxy, sheer, grainy, and instantly cakey — no matter how little I use or what I mix it with. It doesn’t blend with modern makeup at all and actually ruins any custom mix I try to add it to. I can’t get it to apply evenly, build coverage, or look natural in any way. Maybe it works for stage or SFX, but for real‑skin concealing or basic makeup, it’s completely unusable. Definitely not worth it for what I needed.

Good Product But Didn't Completely Work For Me
I ordered this product for the purpose of hiding a tattoo on my wrist. The product itself is very good. It does an amazing job of covering even a very dark tattoo. With some experimentation it is possible to get a very good match to one's skin tone. Unfortunately, it did not work for the area where I needed it. This, however, was not the product's fault. Because it is winter and therefore I have very dry skin, along with my tattoo being right at the crease of my wrist where there are natural bend lines, I could not seem to get a natural looking application. I could cover and blend it just fine, but it would end up looking dry and rather obvious on my skin. I think if my skin were properly hydrated and I had some tips on how to best apply it to a challenging area, it would be fine. It is definitely long lasting, especially after using the barrier spray, and yet is not a pain to remove. It also has quite a nice scent to it. For tattoos, blemishes, scars, etc this is a top notch product. Just be mindful of where you will be applying it and the condition of the skin.

For true coverage I would lean into other brands
As a licensed cosmetologist who regularly does tattoo coverage for film and movie projects, I was excited to try this palette because having multiple shades in one compact is incredibly convenient. The color selection is definitely the strongest feature of this product and makes custom color matching much easier than carrying several separate concealers. That said, the formula wasn’t a great fit for my needs. The consistency is much creamier and emollient than I prefer for professional tattoo coverage. While it provides decent initial coverage, I found it difficult to achieve the long-wear, fully set finish needed for extended filming days. Even when properly powdered and set, it remained softer than expected and was more prone to movement and transfer than other products I’ve used. For occasional use or light discoloration correction, this may work well for some users. However, for full tattoo concealment and long production days, I personally prefer Dermablend, which I find offers a more durable finish and better wear time. The variety of shades earned this palette its 3-star rating, but I deducted two stars for the overly creamy consistency and lack of long-term staying power. If longevity and transfer resistance are priorities, there may be better options available.

Covering and Color Match
Alright y’all. I have never written an Amazon review. But I have been searching since September (it’s June almost July) for a tattoo cover up. I am a performer that has to keep her tattoo covered for hours at a time. I have bought just about every tattoo coverage possible, including over 100 dollars on Dermablend. Dermablend is way too orange and rubs off. I have been covering my tattoo with moleskin tape for over half a year and my skin has literally taken on the texture of the tape to my tattoo. This was my last purchase, but it is the only thing that has actually worked. I have bought and tried just about everything you can think of. I am a perfectionist, so I needed my tattoo coverage to be perfect. I have a small tattoo above my collarbone that is a cursive phrase in all black ink. This coverup appears so well in person and on camera. It covers my tattoo so well too. It stayed on for about 5 hours today before wearing off. Here is my recommendation: color correcting lipstick or liner (I use red or coral), powder, concealer (I use dermablend concealer bc I can cover the orange), a coat of this, and a second final coat. I use my finger to dab over the tattoo and blend in the outsides with a brush. Give time to dry in between each. Letting this concealer dry is key. Powder, then hairspray over. It only rubbed off a little, but any makeup is gonna rub off if you mess with it. It’s better than nothing and has been the only makeup product (I’ve tried TONS of foundation, liquid latex, bandaids, etc.) that has worked for me! For the value, it is definitely worth it:)

Transfers and creases very easily.
Although this product DOES cover the tattoo, it creases and transfers extremely easily and makes your skin feel sticky as if you’ve been sitting in a muggy room for hours. It is easy to apply, my particular tattoo has a lot of color and is pretty dark, so I used the darkest shade first and then color matched between two of the lighter colors. It definitely needs to be blended by blotting. I used a regular sponge beauty blender to apply it. Ultimately, although it does do the job, I don’t know if I’ll be able to use it for my event unless I find a setting powder or setting spray to get it to stay. (My pictures are from now and when I very first got my tattoo years ago because it’s the only clear one I have of the whole tattoo 😅)

This Works!
I have a small, black ink triangle tattoo on my wrist that I wanted covered for my engagement photos. I initially purchased the Dermablend body makeup and concealer which are advertised to seamlessly cover your tattoos, but I couldn’t find a perfect color match and after layers of product and setting powder, you could still see the tattoo. I then purchased this product as a last ditch effort and I’m so glad I did. The color wheel allows you to blend shades to best match your skin tone, the tacky texture grips so well to your skin while still creating a natural, softened look, and there was little to no transfer onto my or my fiancé’s clothes. These photos are after 5 hours of wear, with and without flash (in a dark restaurant unfortunately, but still!) and I plan to post my professional engagement photos once I have them in a follow up review. Application: I used Indeed Labs green nanoblur color correcting, blurring primer to start (I tried a red color corrector during my first attempt based on recommendations but it created an obvious border between the makeup and the rest of my wrist), then layered one coat of the concealer with my finger (I tried a flat top blending brush but it removed a lot of product) with Elf Perfect Finish setting power after each layer of concealer, and repeated until the tattoo was no longer visible.

どうやって使う?
パウダリーでも、練りでもない。水を使って溶かす?いずれにせよ、化粧品としては一度も使えなかった残念なお買い物だった。

Great coverage product
I am having problems with bursting capillaries in my hand due to cortisone shots and this product covers redness beautifully. I am no longer self conscious and it stays on for a long time. It comes in a container with five different shades and I like to mix them to get the right shade for my skin tone. I highly recommend this product for anyone who needs extra coverage.

Do not reccomend
Not worth the money. Doesn’t cover anything, and the shade range is really bad. The second from lightest is orange. Wish I invested my money in dermablend instead
