I’m currently training for the Chicago marathon so I needed something to help me in longer runs. I decided to give this product a try and I have not been disappointed. Other energy gels that I have tried in the past have not had a good taste. But the honey stinger has a very good taste that is not artificial. When I am doing a long run, I generally take them every 4 to 5 miles. They are very easy to open while running and definitely help. Give me an energy boost for the next 4 to 5 miles! One thing that I have to be very careful of is the ingredients in these kind of gels because I definitely have digestive issues. That was my greatest concern when I first tried them. But I’m happy to report that there were no issues and they did the job that I had hoped they would do! I have purchased my second box now, and I will continue to use them straight up through the actual marathon. The only thing I wish is that they had some other flavors that I could try. But for now these are working!

I’ve been using these for about two years now on my long runs. I’ve tried longer runs without them and can feel the difference and increased energy when I use my gels. I’ve tried the fruit punch and açaí flavors and both are pretty good. They’re easy to open so you can continue to run while you tear and consume them. I’ve also used these in the gym when I forget a protein bar and they give me the burst I need when I’m starting to feel hungry in the middle of a session.

The first time I had Honey Stinger gels was training for my first half marathon in 2021. I wish there were more flavors available with caffeine because I use these on my long runs for energy and the caffeine ones taste amazing! It is honey so it is sticky and thick but I enjoy them. They are easy to open while running but I try to remember to bring a small bag or something to put them empty packets in so I don't get the inside of my running belt all sticky. This flavor is my go to however and is so delicious!

Been my go-to through marathon and ultra training. Easy to swallow, even when cold, all the flavors are pretty good (gin-sting is not my favorite tho), clear in case you burst one when packing things too tightly (have done!) so easy clean-up. I have never been in a race bonking or otherwise and thought, “I could just not stomach another one of these.” Package is easy to get open, so easy to open and shove back into pockets when empty (pack it in, pack it out). Easy to wash down with water, won’t linger in your mouth. Try the mango-orange too, very good! I have never had problems with honeystingers products; the only one I haven’t tried is the protein bars. They make great gummies and waffles too.

Seems to work well but boy, what a mess. Hard to consume it while riding and being sure not to litter. Ripped on open and went to put the torn piece in one of my jacket pockets and it stuck to my glove like glue. After that had goo all over my glove. Best to eat while stopped in my opinion. On a positive note, it fills the void in your stomach while on those longer rides. As far as energy I don’t feel any significant changes. Tastes good, goes down easy.

Great product, however only 22 gels in my box. May be smart to put a seal on the sides, so that stuff can't fall out/be taken out of these boxes.

Worked wonders to help me run a sub 4 hour marathon for my first time. I used one of these gels every 3 miles to keep me going, definitely high in carbs and calories but I noticed an immediate improvement in my performance once I started using these in my 15+ mile runs, able to finish much stronger. These are best washed down with water afterwards which can help with the stomach discomfort. After race day I definitely had some digestive issues but I made it through the race! Sometimes having more of them may be better earlier in my training to give myself time to accommodate.

I was skeptical and nervous about running and trying these. The flavor is smooth (thick) and tasty and it washes down well with water. The boost that is have given me on long runs has given me new life. I will be buying these as long as they make them! I don’t go longer than an hour with them ok long runs. They have been easy on my stomach and no crash.

Just tried these today on a trail run. THEY’RE DELICIOUS. You can taste the difference between the quality ingredients in these versus… other gels. Zero stomach issues - great energy - delicious! Will be buying again.
