Human Services and the Afrocentric Paradigm

The insight given within this book offers a vivid perspective of Human Services provided to people of color. It is made clear that our history shows that we can and have taken care of others because the term "We" is because of "Us." Understanding the historical perspective of Human Services can be an eye opening experience.

I received this book in very good condition, in my opinion. The reason I gave it 3 stars is because the person it was dedicated to on the front page, sold it. As an Author myself, this would be a jab in the heart. People don't value the art it takes to pour your, resources, energy, time and commitment into creating a better Afrocentric society. But I'm glad it is not the right hands now.
