Made a dog leash with this and both my wife and I loved it at first. But it popped open several times while walking my 70# shepherd. It now lives in a landfill in Jersey.

I attached a string to the ring to be able to grabb it quicker. After after using the Snap Shackle a few times the ring must have broken and the pin was lost while sailing.Up to this point the Shackle did what it was designed to do.
