It is supplied with a quick release spindle if your wheel has the old style nuts.Mount the resistance control on the handlebar and your ready to go.Inflate your types to the maximum to reduce wear and tyre noise. The noise will depend upon the tyre tread pattern, a very knobbly off road tyre does make a fairly load noise but not too loud as to make the noise unbearable.
