The built-in towel absorbs your sweat, so the mat doesn’t become the exercise equivalent of a skating pond. To enhance the mat’s slip-prevention effectiveness, it’s best to spray it with a bit of water before use. The more you sweat, the grippier the mat gets! Consciously Cool Chick’s yoga mat consists of an absorbent microfiber top layer bonded to a base of 100% natural tree rubber. It is eco-friendly, biodegradable, and recyclable. The designs use water-based inks. Our mat measures 68” by 24” and weighs approximately five pounds. You can pop the mat into your washer for easy cleaning: Place the mat by itself into the washer and use cold water, gentle cycle. Detergent is fine, but NO BLEACH. Hang the mat to dry. Amazing Yoga Mat to make Yoga even better!
I love it! I am used to using a special grip matt on top of my old mat, but I used this mat (sprinkled some water down) and the grip was awesome! I have to say that the best think of this mat are the inspirational words and art that are floating the void reminding me of why I am there doing yoga. Being at peace, to breathe, trust, balance, empower and love- all things that I love to brand in my minds eye and brain while I do yoga, It's like getting on my personal magic carpet.
