This cooling pad is very good the fans are perfect for cooling . I have used it for about 4 hrs today and had no problems so far . Will update after I see how long it will last . Arrived in perfect condition works perfect .

Exactly as advertised. And it really is that quiet. Got the purple one and it looks nice. The fans do really well to cool down my laptop. I play modded games and it heats up the laptop to where the keyboard overheats a lot. the fans manage to cool it down to just a luke warm temp. The adjustment bar in the back is great. My back hasn't hurt as much since I set it up. The latches that hold the laptop in place are sturdy. And there's two USB ports in the back, which I didn't even know about. So it doesn't take up the slot is uses and it gives you one extra which was a pleasant surprise. I'm very happy with my order.

its a lightwt elevated platform with fans. its very very quiet. i dont care about the color led. its thin plastic, kind of cheap. it works. it blows a steady stream of air into your laptop. the differing elevations you can choose are nice. comes with a usb charger plus two usb ports. the placement of the turn off/on, usb ports are problematic. its in the back so you have to pickup/move your laptop to use, every time you use the laptop which is awkward. if they had located this control hub to one of the sides it would have been perfect. the quiet sound is due to the fans being relatively weak and not blowing strongly. dont know other cooling get ups compare. it seems adequate for the price UPDATE seller contacted me and offered a full refund, which i appreciate. one star added to reflect this i have also bought another laptop which isnt so big as my gaming one, its easier to reach the controls with this one. also, i noticed the settings do turn on/off automatically but only when you power down your computer, it doesnt work for sleeping which is the mode i most use

My laptop is an HP that is powerful and works well. The reviews said it ran hot. I thought warm. But hot is right. It's the only thing I don't like about it. It is even rose gold trimmed. Love.. Anyway it needs to be cooled. I like this Kootel Laptop Cooling Pad. The fans are quiet and powerful. I do wish the riser bar clipped into place so the riser will be held and not flop around. I haven't found one yet with that feature though so maybe it doesn't exist. The USB cord that comes attached works perfect to plug into the USB port on my computer for power. It can also be plugged in to an outlet with a USB plug in adapter.

This has made a world of difference when using my laptop. It always got so hot (it is an older model) and seemed slower but now it stays cool and seems to be processing better.

I was skeptical about buying a 5 fan cooling mat, due to none of the fans on this lines up with my fans/cents on the bottom of my laptop, I checked a couple random product review pages for best quality and this one showed up, for $25 I was sure it'd be cheap and poor quality, it's not the sturdiest setup ever, if you lift it the bottom leg just flips around and you might break it off if you're not careful but I fixed that with leather string, my laptop is older, a 2010 Lenovo v570, and for the last year it's not able to perform as it did in 2011(yes, I know. Lol) and programs will crash, and it gets so blazing hot... long story short, I'm very happy with it, very very quiet, the blue lights are subtle and it cools my laptop just just about room temp in a couple mins with all 5 fans running, probably cools it...30-40° a huge difference between no cooling mat, and this one with all the fans going, with my laptop rubber feet there's about a 1/8inch between the surface of the cooling pad and my laptop, it's not big and bulky and thick, it fits in my laptop carry bag, which is on the bigger side bc I have a lot of laptop accessories, but I do wish the cord to plug it in was longer bc it's 3ft and I'm having to use a 15ft extension cord to keep it running, and it's a USB port, it's meant to plug directly into your laptop but I don't recommend it bc it sent my hard drive into a tizzy and my hard drive light wasn't flashing it was solidly lit up which worried me, especially with my ancient machine. I like that you can have the 4 outter fans running, or just the 1 big middle fan. The flip up feet to hold your laptop on when it's inclined are ok, almost to short for me though they sit just where my laptop starts to round where the top and bottom are joined, so I gave to be careful I don't bump it or it'll come crashing down, it's a good width and depth, metal mesh top, plastic bottom, for $25 is it worth it?, well I bought the warranty with it, so only time will tell but having had it less than a couple weeks, so far, ya I'd buy it again, and I do recommend it to others. The plastic bottom bracket almost makes it feel like cheap chintzy quality to me. I like things build solid, sturdy, a little heavy. This is very very light weight. If the bottom bracket didn't flop around freely, the option of a longer cord (3,5,7,10ft cords) and slightly longer flip up feet (updated options in the future maybe?) I would gladly pay up to $60 and was almost expecting to pay about $75 for this product.

the USB power cord is to short. this would be less of a problem expect it needs more power then you get plugging it into a laptop USB A port. after plugging it into a standard outlet the temperature dropped 8-10 degrees Celsius. dont bother buying this if you want to leave it flat, the fans need the airflow from raising the stand. this was disappointed as i keep my laptop closed and put headphones on top of it so i lose some desk space. honestly powered via the laptop the small drop in temperature might have mostly been from having it elevated. the blue lights in the back will be on if the fan is on, no way to disable that. you cant change the fan speed, only if you want 1/4/5 fans on. the power buttons in the back might also be an issue for some people. im not even going to try to use the extra USB ports because the fan needed extra power on its own and i worry that powering anything else with them will impact the cooling. the fans are not to loud. edit: after another 15-20 minutes of continues use the temperature has gone back up just about the full amount it had initially dropped. going from 3 stars to 2 second edit. it seems the rise in temperature might have been due to the laptop fans reducing speed once the temperature dropped, resulting in the temperature going up again. manually setting a minimum computer fan speed seems to have reduced the temperature again. if you cant or dont want to do that then this is probably going to cycle between temperatures that seem like its working and like its not doing anything as it takes over for the computer fan or is working in addition to it. back to 3 starts

Not bad at all. It actually cools down my laptop and works really well. I’m happy with it.
