The cable works pretty well and it fits inside my outdoor plug-in while allowing me to shut the weatherproof cover because the cord is nice and thin. I would not recommend using this without a cover on the outlet box since the actual plug-in on the cord is no different than any other plug-in as far as there's no weatherproofing on the plug. If you do have the weatherproof plug box it fits nicely in there with no issues. The plug that goes into the camera does I seem to have some nice weatherproofing so that water does not go inside the charging port on the camera. I would recommend it if you are looking to get away from having to charge use your camera often.

I specifically chose this product because of the 90 degree curve of the plug that goes into the back of the camera. It puses in far enough not only to make a tight possibly water proof seal, but allowed that wheel used to tighten down on many products to work. Installation could not have been simplier.

Will not charge in cold weather.Below 32°, will not charge.Horrible device.Would NOT buy again.

Returned a difference cable due to poor fit. This one fits very snug and takes minimal space so the silicone camera covers can still be used. In use for 2 months and no issues.

Don't waste money on the solar if you don't have to. Love this product, saves the time of recharging.

The product was just what I wanted and ordered. Arrived fast and attached easily.

These outdoor power cables work very well. I had purchased other(manufacturer) ones and had to return them as they were not charging the cameras.
