Love this spicy muffuletta mix
Spicy. Great for sandwiches, spaghetti sauce, or as a dip served with crackers.

This stuff is yummy
I love Olive Mufflata. Truth be told Iโm addicted to it. Your best bet is buying it at Costco if your local Costco carries it. When I canโt find it at Costco I turn to Amazon as they do carry it. The problem with purchasing from Amazon is you run the risk of opening your box to find the lid became loose in shipping. Unfortunately they have a no returns policy so you can choose to it eat quickly as it has little or no oil left. I will always choose to eat it as it is delicious! I mix it in tuna and chicken salad, I put it on hamburgers and sandwiches. I even use it as salad dressing. I wish more retailers would carry it.

Not Louisiana olive salad, but good flavor and versatile
First, this is not the olive salad that you get on your mufaletta in south Louisiana. It's oilier, and it's spicier. That said, it's darned tasty, and it's good not only on sandwiches: put a spoonful on a salad, on a homemade pizza, in potato salad, in an omelette. Nice burst of flavor! I usually use a third of the jar, pour out some of the oil, and add finely chopped Greek olives (green and kalamata), celery and red peppers, with a bit of balsamic vinegar and a pinch of cayenne. This makes it a bit more like home's olive salad. The jars are on the expensive side but they are really nice to have on hand and spice up a number of dishes.

Love it.
I first found this at Costco and by the time I wanted to get some more it was no longer there. I love it on whole grain and cream cheese. I will being ordering again so I never run out. The size is smaller than what costco carried and more expensive, but what isn't. It arrived well package with no leaks.

Unsealed and leaking at delivery
I just received this product and when I opened the box it was stained with olive oil. The product was wrapped very well in bubble wrap but the lid was actually unsealed and opened and there was oil on the inside of the bubble wrap and the jar. There was a plastic seal wrap that was holding the lid on but when I tried to close it without removing the wrap, the lid would not tighten. When I cut that off I was able to tighten and close the lid so that it was sealed. There was a tiny dent in the lid but I'm not sure if that had anything to do with it being opened enough to be unsealed and leak.Since this is a non returnable item, I am going to have to throw it away. I am afraid to use it due to it being unsealed and leaking and it being 100 degrees outside and not knowing how long it was open since it needs to be refrigerated after it is opened. So basically I paid $19 just to carry it to the trash.

Loved product, bad packaging
The Muffaletta is great and deserves the high rating, it is the Amazon packaging that is an issue, lid was slightly off the jar, seal was not broken, but oil leaked onto other items in the box, luckily nothing damaged from the oil since other items were well wrapped. This is the second time I have had leakage of food items, first time did damage and items were returned. Amazon really needs to box food items that might leak separately.

Leaking jar
This is the most delicious relish/salad.Fabulous on sandwiches and over fish or chicken when baking. I absolutely love everything about it except the fact that, as many mention, the company seems unable to ship without leaking. For that reason the last jar I ordered had to be tossed out half full because it was dried out. There has to be a way to seal the jars better. None the less it's so taste.

Great, but even the regular are quite spicy. Wish we knew that before we ordered.
Just want people to know the spicy is very spicy/hot. It's still good, advertises as spicy but it's super spicy, and I like spicy. My family could not eat it. We ended up spending the extra 17 bucks a jar to order the regular, thinking I'll mix the two. Nope, even the regular was spicy, but just enough spice/hot. I would have needed mild, I think. to mix it to get regular. But regular and spicy are both good and tastes quality. Get the regular if you are thinking about wanting a medium spice. I was the only one in my family who could eat it. Spicy is hot.
