Great.
You can get these plugs at other stores for five bucks. This is one of many products on Amazon where prices are raised, to cover Amazon prime that you’re already paying for.Great product. Works great.

Good Buy: Keeps water out, but hard to remove
Pros: Secure fit inside 1" boat drains, keeps water out. Does the job well.Cons: Hard to remove. If you need to drain water out while on plane, this isn't the plug for you. However your bilge pump should counteract any water you get in the boat anyway.Overall, I would purchase because it works and is cheap!

Does the job well.
I have a 14' jon boat with a honda 15 HP outboard engine. The plug plain and simply does the the job. I'm satisfied with it. The plug can expand or decrease for the the rigth size. These plugs can wear and tear due to weather. So depending on how you store it and based on how often you use it will determine the life span of these plugs. The seal life varies based on the factors I just described. They are affordable and I'm satisfied. I keep and extra one just in case it's get damage or loss due to being mishandled.

Tight fit, quick release
It's great that it's made out of brass so it won't rust or corrode. There is a very good fit, it's almost snug going in uncompressed so I'm very comfortable and confident that it won't leak. The one that came with my boat started to leak but I have no idea how old it was.I like the quick release feature of these types of plugs, I tie a rope to it so if I need to pull the plug from outside the boat it's easy to do, just tug on the rope. It also won't get lost rolling under the floor boards either.Overall I'm very satisfied.

Great product
I purchased this plug when the plug on the jon boat was looked pretty old. I have to say that it does the job well. Fits the 1" drain hole very snug and it's snap clamp seems very durable. I purchased a new jon boat this past spring and it came with the aluminum version of this plug...which I thought would be better than the brass version, I was wrong. The aluminum version "clamp" part seems very cheap. The clamp arm on the aluminum version actually bent when I tried to clamp it tight. The brass version is the better way to go.

This one worked like a charm
Got tired of working the stock one which you have to screw to compress the rubber. This one worked like a charm. Push gently and lift lever to compress. Worked great so far, hopefully it will last a long time. I put rubber conditioner on the rubber so it doesn't crack when its dry. I wouldn't buy rubber conditioner just for that, but I had one because I treat some seals of my cars with it and many of you may have one too and didn't think about it.

Do not pay attention to the review that tells you this is too small
The reviewer is clearly not mechanical. On the bottom of the plug there is a nut. If you tighten the nut the plug gets fatter. The correct way to use it is to get it just fat enough so it snugly fits int the hole you want to plug. Then you can clamp it in tightly and you are good to go. You will need a wrench to do this and there are no directions so if one is not mechanically inclined or familiar with old thermos bottle stoppers you might not notice. Directions would be nice for those folks.
