I have checked out so many that feel flimsy and easily pushed in with very little effort - not this one. Texture is nice and looks like visible scratches won't be a problem. The TSA locks are fabulous. Feel very sturdy and were easy to set my new combination. Instructions that were attached to bag very easy to understand. The zippers run smoothly and appear to be good quality and the expansion room is just right. The only issue is the pull handle isn't the smoothest but it also has not been worked much. Nothing horrible that would make me not consider this bag. Wheels appear substantial and roll smoothly. The interior workmanship looks very nice and the lining is padded! Not super thick, feels more like a thin foam sheet backing the material but it makes the look and feel much nicer than the standard thin lining inside most cases. This case is much nicer than ones I considered for twice the price! I make multiple trips for work per year (I'm talking 2-3 a month on average) and this luggage set has gotten my luggage from point A to point B every time. I will say, while the actual shell of the luggage has held up very well, the extremities have not. I've lost 3 of the 4 rubber feat on the medium luggage, and one of them on the larger luggage piece. Not really a deal breaker for me, as it still holds my luggage and I'm not losing any functionality. Only thing that does bug me is that the telescoping handle on the medium piece has, in the past few months, gotten troublesome with wanting to stay locked in it's telescoped state. I think the catches inside have maybe been worn down over the past couple years, but it will stay locked MOST of the time now. So for the missing feet and the wear on the handle, I took off 1 star, because even at almost 3 years I'd think they would have held out longer. A testament to the luggage's strength, on a recent trip I noticed a rather large 3-4 inch gash was in the top edge of my larger bag. No idea how that happened, but it had to have taken a nasty hit from something. However, none of my luggage inside was damaged and I had some sensitive electronics in there I was concerned about when I saw the gash. If this set ever completely falls apart on me, or a I lose a wheel, I honestly may just buy another set from Traveler's Choice.
