Wesbar 707261 Wishbone Style Trailer Wiring Harness with 4-Flat Connector,3-Feet

The wire on this harness is not the cheap wire that is 95% insulation with two strands of copper inside that you somehow have to crimp a connector onto, heat shrink, and tape to make sure it doesn't come out of the connector THANKFULLY! Very happy with the purchase and thankful that it is a quality harness. The key when running a new harness is to keep it all tight under the trailer and eliminate it from snagging on anything you drive over, to do this I use staples and staple it into the bottom of the wood decking on my trailer. Place some harness protector or rubber line over the harness anywhere it contacts metal to prevent it from rubbing through the insulation and grounding out to the trailer frame as well. It did not come with directions for which color goes where, so I will help out in case you are wondering. Green; R.H. Stop/Turn Yellow; L.H. Stop/Turn Brown; Tail/Running/License Plate White; Ground It has been 3 months and no issues with the harness or the connectors.

1993 MasterCaft inboard trailer totally refurbished. Original wiring was this same brand and lasted 30 years. Cheaper items got many bad reviews. Wiring came quickly with prime and was 18 gauge wire as the original. More than enough length for this application. Good quality and works great.

The Wesbar trailer harness has a robust connector which fits well with the truck 4 flat connector. I particularly like the way it is wired: Green, yellow, two browns, and white. That is, this is a 4 flat connector but has five wires, if you include the white ground wire in the count: Makes it very easy to connect to two trailer lights. The rubber connector has a slight angle and is ribbed which make it much easier to grab and pull out. Just FYI, I also purchased a 4 flat harness from a auto supply store. The black rubber/plastic on the connector was thin. Also I could not get it into the truck female receptor because the white female ground part of the connector was square, instead of half round as it is on my Tundra truck.

Was having trouble with my trailer lights. The old connector was not designed to work well with the 4 pin connector on my truck so I replaced it with this product. All lights work perfectly now and I couldn't be any happier about it. Great product for a great price.

Arrived quickly and was exactly what I was expecting. I bought this as a replacement for a harness that came with the Harbor Freight utility trailer I bought. The left blinker & tail light would not work on the trailer and I've read it is a ground issue. When I pulled out the original harness, I can see why. The wire in the original harness was bare minimum & very thin. No wonder the original harness crapped out after less than a year. The ground on the old harness was a joke compared to the Wesbar ground. Soooo thin and crummy. The Wesbar harness was much beefier and when I trimmed it to connect to the the tailights, I could see a HUGE difference in quantity and thickness of the wire. Once installed, Boom, problem fixed!

Easy to install and it works perfect. 100% happy and I'd definitely recommend it if your wiring is bad.

Nice wire and worked great for the harbor freight folding trailer. The white wire was the perfect length for the "floating ground" it used. The wire was longer than needed so just trim as needed. Better to have more than less. Pro: Good quality wire Nice length Direct replacement for most trailers. Con: No wire cap protector but who cares?

Nice product works perfectly on my tilting snowmobile trailer. Word of caution, i swapped all incandescent to LED light and you need to ground this properly if you have a tilt trailer. Do not ground to tongue, ground to back of the trailer somewhere that isn't part of the tilt function. There are much cheaper options out there, but the ease of having a wishbone style was worth the extra cash for me.

Works great, came with plenty of wire to replace the current defective wires in our boat trailer. Now both signals work and we are happy.

Great set of wires. I wish the ground wire was longer though as grounding to the frame wasn’t good enough. I had to splice in another wire to reach the lights.
