Used to glue a piece of kettle lid back on. Needed to be food-safe and 100C heat resistant.
Used to glue a piece of kettle lid back on. Needed to be food-safe and 100C heat resistant. Smells just as much as any other sillicone but went away after a day. No transfer of smell or taste to water after it had cured 24hrs later.

Why call it "BLACK", when it is clear?.
It is probably a good product, but no only is it clear (not BLACK), it is also very difficult to get out of the tube, it is also very expensive for what it is. I think I must have been sold old stock. Very disappointed.
