Is this suitable for acne prone skin?

Yes, it doesn't make me spotty and I'm very oily; however it does leave a white cast at first and it's very oily in texture. My kids still use this as they think it's less tacky feeling but I've moved to LA Roche Pose SPF 50 for oily skin. It's more gel texture. Neither make me break out but the Piz Buin is much cheaper (I can only use the Allergy one though)

Does this really help prevent prickly heat?

I used to get small red spots on skin joints (knees, elbow creases etc.). They were not that itchy so maybe more of uv induced reaction than prickly heat? Always got them with other sun tan lotions but Piz Buin Allergy stopped them right away and no problems ever since for many years.

It doesnt contain either Oxybenzone or octinoxate which are the 2 ingredients that are damaging to the reef.

It is not strongly perfumed but has got a distinctive 'Piz Buin' suncream sort of smell which is hard to define but not unpleasant and not too strong. It is a lovely facial sun cream, I would recommend it. I don't like things that smell too strong as they can give me a migraine but I am fine with this and have no problems with it. I have bought other brands this year to try (more expensive) and actually am going to go back to this one because I think it works better, is better for my skin and generally a great product.
