Ross & Wilson Anatomy and Physiology in Health and Illness

I first bought Anatomy and Physiology for Dummies. I threw it out. In terms of the production quality, this is a heavy book with pages of substantial weight. As for content, the writing is professional and so are the illustrations. The level of detail is excellent. This is exactly what I was looking for as a critical care nurse. I like it so much, I bought a 2nd one for my brother, who is not a medical professional but has a keen interest in everything related to healthcare.

Very good Anatomy book with color photos. I'm not a Med student but wanted a good anatomy book with color pictures. Took a little over a week to arrive.

Good book

It is a well written book with nicely illustrated. The depth of information can be considered of medium level which makes sufficient for preclinical years and early years of basic science. Nice read and easy to understand for people who seek general knowledge of anatomy and physiology.

I’m going to split this review into 2 parts, the first being the condition of the book and the second being the content. Condition: The book came a little damaged, some of the edges bent and it was a bit wonky but that is to be expected with a book to be honest. It was not torn so it was a case of just flattening it out and letting it sort itself out. I’m not letting this damage hinder my review because it was minuscule and when the contents are looked at then this slight damage is easily forgiven. Contents: this book is fantastic in content, it is well laid out covering every organ and body function across the book. It is well written and is written in a way that is quite straight forward and easy to read. Included in the spectacular A&P contents was a piece of paper which gave instructions to check and verify that the book was genuine which I thought was an amazing touch as it allowed me to know that I was not getting a knock off and was getting a well produced, well reviewed proper copy. This is a must have for anybody needing to study anatomy and physiology and it has a series of other little books that go alongside this one (such as the colouring and worksheet book)
