Numi Organic Gunpowder Green Tea, 18 Green Tea Bags

This is a high-quality and top shelf green tea, I enjoy it daily and actually this is the first thing I have in the morning. Much larger pieces of tea leaves than most, smoother taste, and that Numi offers bulk packaging with a nice price point for 100 teabags I am so appreciative of them, thank you Numi for this option. I now often have multiple cups of Gunpowder Green every day.

My wife especially likes the organic brands and Numi Gunpowder and Jasmine are favorites. Numi Gunpowder Green Tea contains a medium level of caffeine, typically ranging between 25-45 mg per 8-ounce serving. But of course that varied based on steeping time and water. Good aroma. Not for relaxing as the caffeine content is a bit higher than most green teas. Numi Gunpowder Green tea is not a blend; it is a single-origin, 100% organic, full-leaf green tea. I really like this tea! Some mentioned hoe in comes in a brown box but I felt it was packaged that way because of the quantity and maybe was being sold to restaurants. It doesn't bother me because the quality and flavor are very good! I will be buying it again!

The tea seems good quality, including the tea bags themselves. I received mine with all bag pouches in just a plain cardboard box. There's no expiration date on each bag pouch, so you have no way of knowing how old the product is, or when it should be used by. Again, product is good. No box as in picture, and no dates on pouches.

I have been drinking green tea for years. However, our local store does not carry the Numi Gunpowder Green Tea so I had to go on-line to purchase it. I like this brand because it is a carbon neutral company as it states on the back of the box by choosing Numi you are helping people with " access to education, clean water" and decent wages.. The tea is also organic compared to some tea brands that don't state it on the box so you have no way of knowing for sure. There are 18 individual bags of tea per box. Green tea can be smooth tasting although the longer it is brewed the stronger tasting it gets. It can range from light and mild to stronger tasting depending on length of brewing or the specific type and grade of tea. It can be a healthful alternative to coffee and although it does contain some caffeine it is less than coffee. I drink my green tea plain but you could add a little honey, agave or stevia. Green tea has a high level of anti-oxidants that can provide some anti-inflammatory benefits--although, this might depend on the individual and how well of a good diet, exercise and regular health check-up habits are followed. So, not only can I enjoy a calming drink but one with some health benefits as well. I hope at least some of this is helpful. Oh, my husband who is primarily a coffee drinker even drinks the Green Tea occasionally.

I got the tea bags in a plain cardboard box. Tried one and it was not rolled tea as in the loose variety and tasted like very old tea nothing like the loose variety!!

A most delicious green tea - real green tea flavor w/ a true brew cup experience. Some discount green teas are flimsy in flavor - therefore flimsy in the benefits of green tea. This NUMI is not flimsy. You get a real green tea flavor with each cup. I actually use my teabag twice! I know this is a sin to some purists - but it works for me. I've used this brand for years - reliable quality and nicely packaged. I but this in bulk packages because I try to drink at least one cup -a day. Better is three - for health benefits. And actually have switched away from coffee to this green tea; it has what is labeled as 'medium caffeine' making it energizing but not 'hair on fire' caffeine content. I recommend this product
