I really liked the vintage look of this renaissance corset top. The design is eye-catching, and it has a nice style that works well for costumes, parties, photos, or dressing up. The details and overall shape are pretty, and it definitely gives an outfit a more unique look. However, I was a little disappointed with the fit and material. The fabric feels thinner than I expected, and the corset structure doesn’t feel as supportive or high quality as it looks in the pictures. The sizing is also a little tricky, so I recommend checking the measurements carefully before ordering. It’s a cute fashion piece, but it feels more like a costume top than an everyday corset.

Update 6/12/17: I bought a second! I bought the ivory one and it is STUNNING. Those that are complaining that it's too small aren't thoroughly reading reviews. I'm normally a medium/large. I got an XL in the ivory and it JUST fit and the 2XL in black is sometimes too big. My sister-in-law, who is a Large said the 2XL that I let her borrow fit nicely. Do your research via reviews before purchasing, people. It's not this company's fault. October 2016: The reviews are all true!!! Shocking, I know. This corset is a RARE find on a site filled with falsities. I received it the exact day I was informed I would and everything is perfect. Being overly excited, I flopped backwards onto my bed in attempts to follow others' instructions (it's easiest to put it on lying down). But, oddly, I found it fit strange! And then I began to laugh at myself. I'd put the corset on upside down in my excitement. Meanwhile, my fiance was downstairs, calling "Can I come up NOOOOW?!" like a child asking if they could open their presents yet on Christmas morning. Finally, I managed to get it on. The fiance finally was told he could come upstairs to see. Needless to say...the corset was admired longingly for quite a while. My man even assisted in tightening the laces. I cannot WAIT to wear this for Halloween. I also can't wait to order a few more...for pure fun. My only problem is that, while I order a XXL (2XL) like sizing says and the comments said, I should've only ordered an XL. I'll know this for next time. Also-the g-string was swiftly placed in the trash as it was HUGE on me. In case anyone my size needs assistance in figuring out what to order, here is my sizing: 32/34 C/D (depends on the bra company), size Medium in shirts, size 10 in dresses. Good luck and don't hesitate to buy this corset!!!

Before I begin I want to give a disclaimer. This is the first time I've bought a corset from anywhere but a Halloween store and I am going entirely based on my "cheap" corset experiences. All the corsets at Halloween stores are more expensive and similar quality if not worse from time to time. Okay let's start with the negatives. The product us one you definitely need to size up in. The bust area has a decorative strung but isn't adjustable, which causes issues because I'm a 38C bra usa, 38-40 inch waist (I did this measurement over a few days so I'm doing a give or take) 42 inch upper hip and 44 inch lower hip naturally. I had to size up from my normal size so the chest is a bit bigger than I would like but not so much so that I can't wear it. I'd also like to point out that after a few uses it does start to lose its shape but that may be because I tighten it a bit more than intended for a cheap corset. That brings me to my next point. For a very cheap corset I am very impressed at its appearance and structure. It is very nice for a short term and even after it stretches a bit I can still wear it. It's not bad for a cheaper corset and I can use it for cosplay as well as occasional normal wear. The material is also pretty nice, not at all ichy or painful. If you figure the right technique for your body, it's very easy to put on and tighten. Again, the appearance is impressive. It looks nice design wise. Over all I'd definitely say if you can't get a really expensive corset but want something similar or if you need a cheap corset for a cosplay or costume I say go for it. To me, it's better than what I expected for the price.

I’m 5’3” and 165 lbs. I got a size medium which is my regular size. This corset does wonders. I’ve already got a bit of a small waist, but this corset accentuates my curves even further. It’s easy to break in and it doesn’t restrict breathing! Sucks in that tummy like it’s not even there. Supports the girlies too. The overall material and structure is very sturdy and I honestly have nothing bad to say about it. It’s beautiful and looks exactly like the picture.

Runs really small and fits weird. I bought a 7x when I’m usually a 2-3x. I’m 5’6 and 290lbs with DDD’s for reference. I think it fits weird because the boning is made out of cheap materials so it bends a when you cinch in the corset and it doesn’t help the problem if you have a lot of cleavage. As far as fit around the body it works but you’ll have to loosen it a pretty good bit to get it on and then cinch it in because the sizing runs so small and I had to loosen it so much the fabric that goes underneath the ribbon is too small to cover my back which isn’t a problem if you aren’t self conscious about that. Also definitely need a second person to help you get it on correctly.

This piece is lovely! As stated in other reviews it is really well built. It does fit a bit small, but it's a corset! It has lacing in the back to let out, which works wonderfully. NOTE: The back leasing has a panel that can flip over. So either the lacing can show your skin through it, or there can be a flap of fabric. This extra fabric is not very big, just about 6 inches. If you want the fabric to cover over then I highly recommend getting a slightly larger size than you think you need. If you want your skin to show through, get the size you think you should. As also stated another review the first time you put it on you'll need some extra time. The fasteners in the front are a bit tricky. And when I say 'a bit' I mean rather, since there is a bone in peace directly under them so no give while you're trying to get them fastened. When one goes on if feels like two more come back off again. But it just takes a time or two to get used to. But, leave yourself room with the lacing in the back, do the fasteners in the front, then pull the back tight. Works like a charm. I highly recommend this corset! It is absolutely beautiful. The front fasteners are a bit industrial if you're looking for a costume/vintage piece, but this is beautifully made. (So great for cosplay/steam punk, inaccurate for historical, wonderful for fantasy!) If I am looking for other corsets I will absolutely look at this groups other selection. NOTE- I was originally sent the wrong piece. And by wrong piece I mean skirt type thing that had absolutely nothing to do with corsets, not like they sent me the wrong course it. The exchange was Apsley no problem, I just wanted to note that this did happen so leave yourself a bit of time if ordering. ENJOY!!!!

The ONLY reason I gave this a 4 star instead of 5, is because I felt the sizing was off. After reading reviews, I ended up buying the 4XL rather than my normal size which is between XL-XXL. I felt like I should have sized up even more to the 5XL because I had to loosen the laces SO much. the boob area is much bigger than the rest of the corset, so its mix-matched in my opinion. Also, according to the size chart and reviews, the size I bought should have fit me, but like I said, the boob area was way too big on me and I have DDD chest, also the back that laces up was open so wide after putting it on, it looked weird. But my friend stitched the side of the top which made it look much better. So if you have a smaller chest and are wider in the hip/stomach area, you may not be happy with it. All in all, it was VERY well made and absolutely beautiful. It was the perfect touch to my bachelorette weekend!

I absolutely love this corset top! It arrived within a week instead of the expect 1.5 month long wait which was a very pleasant surprise. The quality is amazing especially for the price and through following the size chart, my corset fits me perfectly. Overall a really good purchase and I've already ordered another one in a different colour!
