I've always loved Derek Prince...since the '70's when I first heard of him. I have many of his books. This book, "God's Word Heals", is just excellent. It is focused all on Jesus Christ's finished work at Calvary. It is FULL of Scripture to back up what he's saying. Doctrinally sound. I would recommend this to every Christ follower. For me, it is life-changing. Glory to God.

I love the use of scripture! Very enlightening!

This book is well wrtten. The author gives scriptures of God's promises to heal and deliver, then he gives you testimonies from the lives of those he has ministered to, as well as his own testimony of healing and deliverance. He shares from his personal ministry and how God led him and his wife on this exciting path of healing. I would recommend this book to anyone who has a deeper desire to know what God's word say's about healing, not only for those who need healing, but also for those who want to be used by God for healing others. I gave this book a five star rating because it was an easy read, yet was very in depth, and encouraging.

I did not realize that Derek Prince had written a book on healing. I am so glad that I ordered it. His personal healing testimony is included

Derek Prince is such a wonderful author and this book is no exception. Healing is for today, not relegated to the past, and this book provides such insight into the steps available to seek God's healing for your life or the life of another. I highly recommend this book!

In this book, Derek Prince builds a foundation from scripture for healing. Like all of his books, Prince uses scriptures to back up every concept he presents. I really like and respect Mr. Prince for not just putting forth his own ideas, but instead, relying upon the Word of God to lay the foundation for divine healing throughout the ages. Upon this Biblical foundation he then relates his own personal experiences with healing, starting with leg lengthening which then spread to other miracles of healing. Prince's premise is that healing is just as valid today as it was in the time of Christ. Healing still comes through the Savior, and it is received by scripture and though one's own faith. Why all are not healed despite faithful prayer is a mystery only known by God says Prince. Yet, just because all are not healed is not an excuse to stop praying and stop receiving God's divine healing. We are encouraged to "pray without ceasing" and to persist in our faith.kone

Every Christian should read this book! It will not only teach and encourage your faith but it helps you to examine your own life and personal "faith" walk with the Lord - esp. in the area of believing God for healing. It also shows you hindrancesin your life that can block healing and or blessings. Go for the "gold" in your walk with the Lord. Get the book for yourself and extra copies to give away as gifts. It truly is a MUST READ. In fact, any thing by Derek Prince is a must read book.

Bought this on Kindle so I can pass on my paperback copy. If you've never come across Derek Prince I recommend his materials for anyone wishing to get to grips with the Bible. He was both highly intelligent and educated (before he came to know Jesus Christ) and simple! In the sense that if God said it, he believed it and acted on it. His experiences proved that God is real and wants to interact with people. Plenty of actual preaching available online.

A must read

A very good book.

Explained in Derek ' s unique style 'God's Word Heals' has taught me so much and given me the opportunity to pray for a miracle that I thought would be impossible. Praise the Lord.

An excellent book. I was so glad I found it, downloaded it and read it. This is a book that the reader needs to take time with, as it requires time for prayer and thinking through various issues. I feel I didn't take as much time as I should've done, so will read it again fairly soon.
